The Role: Lead Machine Learning Engineer

As the Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning solutions. You’ll work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to operationalize models and build scalable ML pipelines that power our data-driven products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of ML models using Python, scikit-learn, Keras/TensorFlow.
• Architect and maintain scalable ML pipelines integrated with our data platforms.
• Implement advanced ML techniques (e.g., bagging, boosting, ensemble methods, neural networks).
• Monitor model performance and data drift; optimize reliability and accuracy.
• Define and track ML Ops metrics (accuracy, latency, drift, resource utilization).
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionize research models.
• Establish best practices for model versioning, reproducibility, and retraining.
• Mentor junior ML engineers and foster a culture of innovation.

Perfil buscado (Hombre/Mujer)

• Administrar y dar soporte a entornos de Azure, incluyendo recursos, servicios gestionados, pipelines de Azure DevOps y monitoreo de la plataforma.
• Gestionar incidencias en Azure, identificando, resolviendo y documentando problemas de manera eficiente.
• Administrar sistemas operativos y servicios críticos: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP y políticas de grupo (GPO).
• Configurar y mantener entornos Linux, asegurando estabilidad y rendimiento.
• Optimizar el rendimiento de los sistemas, planificando capacidad y recursos según las necesidades de los proyectos.
• Diseñar, revisar y mantener Infraestructura como Código (IaC) con Terraform y pipelines de Azure DevOps.
• Gestionar backup, parches, tags, dashboards y otras tareas de administración en Azure.

El/la candidato/a seleccionado deberá cumplir los siguientes requisitos:

• Técnico Superior en Gestión de Sistemas Informáticos o título en Ingeniería Informática
• Al menos 5 años de experiencia en el sector TI, con un mínimo de 3 años desempeñando el mismo puesto
• Experiencia en Monitoreo en Azure: Plataforma Azure, recursos de Azure, eventos de pipelines de Azure DevOps, servicios de Azure como bases de datos gestionadas, etc.
• Experiencia en Resolución de Incidencias en Azure.
• Administración de Azure: Gestión de sistemas operativos, gestión de parches, Kubernetes (AKS), gestión de backups, etiquetas, dashboards, etc.
• Revisión o desarrollo de nueva infraestructura como código (IaC) con Terraform o pipelines de Azure DevOps
• Active Directory y Políticas de Grupo: Gestión y resolución de problemas de AD, DNS, DHCP y Objetos de Política de Grupo (GPO).

Descripción
 Buscamos incorporar un DevOps Engineer (nivel intermedio) para unirse a nuestro equipo tecnológico en Barcelona. La persona seleccionada será responsable de construir y mantener infraestructuras escalables, automatizar procesos de despliegue y garantizar la fiabilidad y el rendimiento de los sistemas.


Responsabilidades principales
Diseñar, implementar y mantener pipelines de CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Gestionar infraestructuras en la nube (AWS, Azure, GCP) mediante IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Monitorizar el rendimiento y la fiabilidad del sistema (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Automatizar despliegues y tareas operativas (Bash, Python).
Garantizar la seguridad y el cumplimiento de la infraestructura.



Requisitos
Experiencia: 3 a 5 años en entornos DevOps.
Formación:
Grado universitario en Informática, Ingeniería, Telecomunicaciones o similar.
Se valorará Máster o certificaciones en DevOps, Cloud o Seguridad (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Linux Foundation).
Conocimientos técnicos:
CI/CD, automatización, monitorización y cloud.

Your mission

What you´ll do
- Participate in building and operating a data platform that empowers everyone in the company, ensures performance and reliability, and with user-friendliness always in mind.
- Shape to the ongoing design of our core data model to support advanced analytics and reporting and define data quality, governance, and lifecycle standards with clear processes and documentation.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust, observable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation and applying solid engineering practices (testing, code reviews, CI/CD, versioning)
- Partner with stakeholders across product, operations, finance, risk/compliance, and engineering to turn business goals into pragmatic, measurable data solutions.
- Contribute to team strategy and roadmapping to align the team´s technical efforts with broader organisational goals.

Who you are
- You build production-grade dataflows with Python and SQL, schedule/operate them with Airflow or Dagster, and model/test transformations in dbt.
- You´re comfortable in AWS (GCP/Azure welcome) and provision cloud resources in code with Terraform (or similar).
- You operate Snowflake thoughtfully, structure roles and permissions, optimise performance and cost
- You understand data quality and governance fundamentals (validation, documentation, lineage, privacy).
- You bring a growth mindset and willingness to learn with additional bonus points if you have experience with: Kubernetes, Kafka, event collection platform (RudderStack/Segment), data catalogs (DataHub), Apache Iceberg (or other open table formats), and A/B testing/feature flags.
