Summary of Internship
Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, science or marketing students to get hands on experience in a marketing environment
Functions
- Effective project management adhering to established timelines
- Assist in developing engaging and educational content for various marketing channels, including website, social media platforms, and promotional materials
- Maintain PowerBI and provide reporting support for the system and users
- Perform ad hoc analysis of sales activation and demand generation metrics to assess efficiency and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of pricing models and tools to streamline pricing processes
- Support the execution and data integrity of strategic projects
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, such as organizing meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining marketing databases
Education / Qualifications:
- Student currently studying a Science, Business or Marketing Bachelor's degree
- Students required to complete a 6 - 12 month internship
- Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software and tools.
- No previous experience required
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
- Ability to learn on the job and take own initiative to drive projects and tasks forward
- Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position
- Excellent written and oral communications skills are required

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our Advanced Manufacturing Madrid & Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona team.
The main focus of this role is to support in the execution of the marketing campaigns promoting both of the trade exhibitions, as well as supporting on the marketing for the digital platforms. We are looking for someone who has a strong content first approach.
Growth opportunity in this sector and portfolio is exciting, the candidate therefore needs to be ambitious, agile and reactive, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Exhibitor activation including phone calls, emailing, material production
- Website updates
- Monthly Newsletter production
- Social Media execution
- Fluent English
- Good communication skills.

- Emailing programmes such as mailchimp / SFMC/ other
- Video edition tools
- Design tools
- Event experience not necessary though it would be preferred
