We require the incorporation of an Electrical Engineer with expertise in embedded systems design, programming and test.

He/she will work in Project

PRAGMATICS

, a proof of concept intended to advance in the industrialization of smart CMOS image sensors based on compressive and high-dynamic range image capture.

This project is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and has a duration of 2 years.

The goal is to characterize the limitations of current prototypes and study advanced packaging alternatives.

The person to be hired will carry out the following tasks:

Design test and development PCBs for experimental smart image sensors

Program test and measurement instruments

Characterize smart image sensor prototypes

Study advanced packaging alternatives and contribute to design modifications.

This person will work full-time and his/her role will be to complement the research team's efforts in these areas.

Requirements

Research Field Engineering » Electronic engineering Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates must have degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electronic Physics, or equivalent, with a solid background in embedded systems programming, including microprocessors and FPGAs, knowledge of professional CAD tools, and test and measurement equipment.

Specific Requirements

Previous experience in embedded system design, hardware implementation, as well as knowledge of CMOS image sensors, will be highly valued.
