Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Cocinero Ayudante to join our kitchen team at Volver Restaurant. This is an onsite position located in Riells i Viabrea. The responsibilities include assisting the head chef with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, managing ingredients, assembling dishes, and ensuring quality standards are met. The Cocinero Ayudante will also help prepare and plate appetizers, entrees, and desserts, contributing to a positive culinary experience for our guests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and basic cooking methods.
• Strong skills in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and managing organization effectively.
• Ability to follow recipes, assist in plating, and ensure consistent food presentation.
• Great teamwork, communication, and adaptability to a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required; a passion for Spanish and international cuisine is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards.
