In our local Engineering department, we have a vacancy: Project Engineer

Your mission will be to asume the role of Project Manager for Civil Engineering and Construction Projects.

Main responsabilities:

• Manage the assigned portfolio of projects within the plant’s Capital Plan.
• Define project scope, planning, and budgeting.
• Negotiate and contract work packages with suppliers.
• Lead and monitor project execution.
• Provide technical support to all plant departments regarding construction solutions.

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS:

Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering o Edification Engineering.

Languages skills: High level of English (at least B2).

Experience: At least 5 years managing engineering projects in construction sector.

Knowledge:

Specific technical knowledge:

• Knowledge of construction suppliers.
• Technical knowledge in Architecture/Construction/Mechanical Engineering.
• Valuable: knowledge of Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP), PMP certification.

Specific tools:

• Intermediate level in office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Valuable: knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM

Soft skills:

• Leadership: Inspire and guide teams.
• Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve disputes.
• Effective Communication: Clearly convey ideas.
• Time Management: Organize schedules efficiently.
• Critical Thinking: Make informed decisions.
