The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team building innovative eCommerce experiences.

As a Engineering Manager, you will drive the design, development and technical ownership of a core element of our platform. You will collaborate with Architecture, Product, and your Engineering Leads to deliver and maintain a high volume secure system that continues to support rapid growth in scale and roadmap.
We are looking for a Engineering Manager with the highest level of technical and people management skills and a passion for building high-performing teams and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of full stack engineers.
- Work with and provide day to day leadership and support to an engineering team responsible for developing/delivering key features within its domain.
- Work with engineering and product leaders to drive close collaboration within the global teams.
- Drive execution to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate across functions to support planning and road-map prioritization.
- Drive technical strategy, architecture, and execution for scalable, high-performance UI.
- Anticipate technical challenges and define strategy through long-term planning.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Continuously strive to introduce improvements and innovations to the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering OR equivalent experience.
- Fluent English speaker: most of our team doesn't speak Spanish!
- Proven experience in engineering leadership and team management.
- Experience with agile project management, development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Nice-to-have, but not mandatory: experience with our tech stack (.NET, Azure, Angular, Kubernetes and Kafka).

Funciones:
- Como Engineering Manager tu enfoque será el desarrollo de nuestro activo número uno – nuestro equipo.
- Apoyarás el crecimiento profesional de nuestros ingenieros/as, y a impulsar el cambio y la mejora dentro de la organización.
- Con entendimiento de la misión de la empresa, ayudarás a tomar decisiones de producto y de negocio, priorizando iniciativas junto al Product Manager.
- Te responsabilizarás de la planificación y delivery del equipo.
- Gestionarás el plan de carrera del equipo, promociones y coaching.
- Te encargarás de promover y cuidar un nivel de documentación tanto técnica como funcional que permita que las nuevas funcionalidades y la evolución de los cambios en las mismas estén fácilmente accesibles a todo el equipo de producto..

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS:
Requisitos:
- Un gran alineamiento con nuestra cultura. Esto es lo más importante.
- Ingeniería técnica/ ADE o similares.
- Más de 5 años de experiencia en liderazgo en ingeniería y gestión de personas.
- Buen background técnico (+10 años) trabajando en el desarrollado de productos digitales (web, mobile, microservicios, etc.) y capacidad para contribuir al diseño y discusiones de arquitectura.
- Autonomía y proactividad, responsabilidad sobre su trabajo.
- Excelente capacidad trabajando en equipo. Experiencia en entornos multidisciplinares y con metodología Agile.
- Foco en la cultura y el liderazgo.
- Capacidad para hacer crecer y liderar equipos de ingeniería de alto funcionamiento.
- Experiencia en la contratación de un equipo técnico completo y diverso.
- Experiencia trabajando con un entorno altamente colaborativo, saber definir un marco de trabajo eficiente de producto e iterando esta dinámica para impulsar a un equipo que envía código a la producción frecuentemente.
- Dominio de métricas de performance del equipo y mejora continua de la performance.
- Experiencia utilizando JIRA como herramienta de gestión del backlog de producto.
- Experiencias en repositorios de código, pipelines de integración y despliegue continuo, cloud y diseño de microservicios.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
·The selected candidate must have at least 8 years of relevant experience in the described functions.
· Proven experience in designing, managing, and evolving frameworks for Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Strategic Workforce Planning within a multi-unit organization.
· Skilled in developing guidelines, communication materials, trainings, and executive-level presentations for HR processes.

What you can expect in the role of Divisional Business Unit Manager
As a Divisional Business Unit Manager, You Will
- Lead sales and marketing teams, with full accountability for business performance, including P&L responsibility for a Division/Franchise/Business Unit.
