About The Role

Based in our innovation centre in Barcelona, this person will be an essential part in increasing customer speed of response focused on the meat industry. You will be working very closely with technologists in order to achieve a greater focus on wider projects driving success and building customer intimacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with the R&D team to meet customer briefs by making and dispatching samples to customers
• Performing accurate and methodic taste systems sample preparation
• Assist in the development of products from concept, trials and all the way through to launch for various type of savoury applications
• Keep and manage retained samples of all products made and dispatched to customers
• Liaise with cross functional teams within the business to ensure everything is compliant, effective, and meeting the project expectations
• Raw material stock and availability management
• Base stock and availability management
• Manage and coordinate analytical requests
• Manage and coordinate Sensory testing
• Perform functionality tests
• Ability to manage key stakeholders within the required processes
• Project management
• General lab management
• Limited travel off site may be required
  
  

• 3rd level qualification desired but not essential
• Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment desirable but not essential 
• A keen interest in food manufacture & processing
• Competence navigating key R&D systems
• Project management skills
• Good lab practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player
• You will bring a high level of attention to detail to this role and have excellent organisational skills
• A good level of English is a nice to have
