A great opportunity has arisen for a commercially orientated EMEA Rewards Director to join our EMEA HR Team at ERM, a global sustainability consulting firm. The focus of this role will be on leading the total reward function to drive and mature our reward philosophy and approach for EMEA region to help attract, retain and motivate talents across a diverse set of roles and skillset.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an EMEA Rewards Director with demonstrable expertise and knowledge in this field, including: strategic reward leadership, benchmarking, job architecture and evaluation, salary band design, benefits plan design. We would prefer if you have prior experience working in professional services or consulting environment and if you have knowledge of Workday.

Role responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional HR Director, the EMEA Rewards Director will build our philosophy and will develop and an implement the reward approach for EMEA region which consists of circa 20 countries. You will be responsible for (not limited to) the following:
- Lead and manage all end-to-end annual reward cycle activities, including the annual pay review and bonus cycle, internal pay equity review, benchmarking process.
- Act as a strategic reward partner to the EMEA senior leadership team, providing expert reward guidance to support business needs.
- Development and delivery of reward communication and education materials for the EMEA region
- Stakeholder management, collaborating effectively with both regional and global/group stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with regional and Group reward counterparts on global reward projects and process implementations
- Lead large-scale reward projects in the region and globally as needed, such as readiness for EU Pay Transparency Directive, job architecture review, global benefits management transition.
- Lead a small team of reward professionals
- Senior reward experience working strategically and operationally across multiple countries in EMEA
- Deep technical expertise in reward frameworks, processes and plan design
- Knowledge of reward compliance topics
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, preferably with experience working in a matrixed environment
- Very strong excel and data analysis
- Previous experience of Workday and of WTW’s Global Grading methodology would be a plus

The recommended recruiting range for this role is €90,000-€110,000. In accordance with local legislation, the salary information displayed applies to Italy only. Recommended recruiting salary bands in other locations will differ.

Partner, Crop Protection, Sustainable Product & Supply Chain
ERM is seeking to appoint a Partner within its Sustainable Product & Supply Chain team in Southern Europe, with a particular focus on Crop Protection and agricultural chemicals.
The successful candidate will be a commercially driven leader with a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape for crop protection and chemical products, including EU and GB REACH and related frameworks. While deep technical expertise is supported by ERM’s specialist teams, the role requires the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into strategic, client-focused solutions.
This position is primarily client- and market-facing, with a strong emphasis on business development, key account management, and growth of ERM’s services in the crop protection and broader chemicals sector. The Partner will be responsible for identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and building long-term relationships with stakeholders across industry.
The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes across sectors including industrial chemicals, manufacturing (durable and consumer products), energy, and pharmaceuticals/healthcare.
Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks (e.g., TSCA, FIFRA, OSHA, UN GHS) and awareness of emerging market registration schemes would be considered advantageous.
Role profile
In this client-facing role, the Partner will be responsible for business development to grow our Sustainable Product & Supply Chain business through a variety of services, e.g. substance registration, Crop Protection-authorisation, integrated Product Stewardship services including regulatory support, strategy development and auditing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans, provide leadership, and deliver performance results to expand ERM's Sustainable Product & Supply Chain team and client base
- Drive double-digit profitable growth across targeted sectors through innovative service delivery and market engagement
- As a senior ‘seller/doer’, personally win project work annually with support from peers, account directors and technical experts. This would be achieved through identification and development of new opportunities, effective technical proposals, and development of new business with new and existing clients
- Be client facing, with a proven track record of developing Key Client relationships to meet business development needs
- Design and direct large projects and multi-person project teams. Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
- Provide people leadership - lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure the team delivers high quality of work and continue to be developed
- Actively promote and cross-sell ERM’s diverse service areas to drive broader client impact
- Leverage ERM’s global network, working closely with offices across EMEA and other regions to provide integrated solutions to clients

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide trusted HR support across Spain and Portugal. Acting as a key partner to managers and employees, you will provide expert guidance on employee relations, employment law, people policies, and HR best practice, helping to ensure a positive employee experience while managing business and legal risk.
This role requires strong knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese employment legislation, the ability to manage a broad range of employee relations matters, and a collaborative approach to supporting business leaders in a dynamic, international environment.
The role will be based in either our Madrid or Barcelona office where we have a flexible hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across Spain and Portugal.
- Manage employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, absence management, flexible working requests, and workplace investigations.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.
- Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, consultations, and other workforce projects.
- Partner with managers to address people-related challenges and build leadership capability.
- Advise on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent and fair decision-making.
- Work closely with regional HR, Legal, and business stakeholders on complex employee matters.
- Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, compensation cycles, talent planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitor legislative developments and provide guidance on their impact to the business.
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Employee Relations role.
- Strong working knowledge of Spanish employment law; knowledge of Portuguese employment law is highly desirable.
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases and advising managers.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a regional HR team.
- Fluent Spanish and English required; Portuguese would be an advantage.
