ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Summer Camp Non Residential Monitor to join our teaching team on a temporary basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General duties:
- Staff must respect the guidelines set down by King’s College S.L.
- Staff is required to attend the Training Days/planning sessions before the start of the Course.
- Staff is responsible for ensuring that they maintain good standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
- The uniform provided by King’s College S.L. should be worn at all times as well suitable foot- wear.
- Use English at all times with the children in the course.
- Be responsible for the well-being of the children in the Course and make sure they are never left un- attended.
- Plan and prepare the sports and games sessions utilising appropriate materials according to the age of the children.
- Plan, prioritise and organise tasks and activities
- Demonstrate Creativity & encourage innovation
- File, retrieve and manage information
- Comply with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements
Language
English: Advanced or Proficiency (C1-C2) (Required)
Spanish: Advanced or Proficiency (C1-C2) (Preferrable)
Experience
Summer Camps: 1 year (Preferrable)
Physical Education teacher: demonstrating effective teaching methods and engagement with students in a sports or physical activity setting.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Desde King´s College estamos en búsqueda de un profesor/a de Ciencias Sociales que tenga habilitación para impartir Lengua Castellana (curriculo español) para comenzar en agosto / septiembre de 2025.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Impartir clases de la asignatura correspondiente
- Hacer seguimiento de la evolución del alumno y estar en contacto con los familiares para aquellos temas que fueran necesarios
Requisitos:
- Master de Profesorado de Secundaria y Bachillerato o CAP
- Habilitación para impartir Lengua Castellana
- Nivel profesional de inglés
- Mostrar pasión por su labor docente en cualquiera de los cursos comprendidos en secundaria y bachillerato
- Consciente de todo lo que la labor de tutor/a aporta a su desarrollo personal y profesional.
- Proactivo y activo: con ganas de aportar, crear, hacer equipo (con alumnos, compañeros/colegio).

- Experiencia previa en colegios internacionales

Administrative and management responsibilities:
- Respect the guidelines set down by King’s College S.L.
- Be part of the staff selection process, conduct interviews.
- Ensure that the use of English is employed at all times with the children and staff at the school during the course.
- Be prepared to follow a flexible working timetable.
- Grouping of students with monitors at the start of course.
- Monitor English and Spanish activities levels, making changes where necessary, trying to balance the groups by age, level and sex, etc., as much as possible.
- Offer help and advice to monitors on both a practical and personal level, assisting with the preparation of sports classes: providing photocopies or other materials as and when they are needed.
- Maintain an awareness of fire, health and safety regulations.
- Be responsible for the well-being of the children and staff of the Courses.
- Be prepared, when necessary, to take a child from Course to the nearest Health Centre or hospital.
- Work as part of a team.

- Teach and manage groups of 10 – 15 students between the ages of 6 to 16 years old.

We are seeking to appoint a flexible and creative leader with excellent subject knowledge and effective interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be committed to inspiring students, developing the department, and building strong working relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU/UK and be fluent in English.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Business Studies department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Teach Business Studies across Key Stage 4 (IGCSE) and Key Stage 5 (A Level/IB Business).
- Act as a role model for teaching and learning, providing leadership and guidance to colleagues.
- Make a distinctive contribution to raising standards across the school, particularly within the Business Studies department.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement in Business Studies.
- Provide a sustained and consistent collaborative contribution to the wider work of the school, either internally or outside the school.
- Proactively seek, create, and lead on opportunities that have a demonstrably positive impact on creating an outstanding learning environment for Business Studies students.
- Manage departmental resources, including budgeting and staff development.
- Ensure effective communication with parents and provide support to students in relation to their academic progress.
- Experience of teaching Business Studies at IGCSE, A Level, and/or IB.
- Previous Head of Department or middle management experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Experience in leading a department and driving curriculum development and innovation.
- Independent sector or international experience is desirable.
- Excellent working knowledge of the English National Curriculum, the IB Diploma, and recent developments.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- A proven track record in raising student achievement and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
- Pastoral responsibility or experience would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Spanish, or a willingness to learn Spanish, would be an advantage.
