JOB SUMMARY
In this position, the HQ Energy & Facilities Management Executive will assist the Energy & Facilities management of the company. The candidate will work in close contact with the Projects and construction teams.
Additionally, the HQ Energy & Facilities Management Executive will collaborate with other HQ departments providing technical support in Global Projects (such as IT, Marketing, Guest Experience, Procurement, etc.).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the Building, Engineering & Maintenance team in improving energy management across the portfolio, focusing on energy efficiency, applying standards, and maintaining comfort.
- Benchmark energy consumption against best practice standards and corporate targets for consumption and costs.
- Provide monthly reports on energy performance and costs, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and analysis of measurable factors affecting energy consumption.
- Develop and implement action plans for energy efficiency by identifying and applying various options for saving energy, conducting awareness programs, and monitoring energy consumption.
- Assist with the review and negotiation of energy contracts.
- Collaborate on updating installation design standards (technical specifications). Track market trends and incorporate new technologies that can benefit our hotels, especially those focused on energy efficiency. Coordinate and update other standards, such as acoustic guidelines and meetings & events technology.
- Assist technical site inspections, property condition assessments, and energy audits in existing hotels or new projects.
- Support the BU PCME teams in the design of installations.
- Negotiate the implementation of energy efficiency technical specifications for new projects in alignment with the HQ Engineering team.
EXPERIENCE
Working experience in similar roles is highly valued.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical…) or equivalent, with a focus on energy efficiency.
Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as knowledge of the energy use of buildings.
SKILLS
- He or she must be familiar with the design of MEP & engineering projects related to all the installations present in a hotel building.
- Knowledge of the regulations, codes, and standards applicable to the described systems.
- Knowledge of energy audits, energy performance and ISO 50.001.
- Knowledge of the energy efficiency field and state-of-the-art technologies to achieve energy savings.
- High English level. Other languages will also be taken into consideration.
- Advanced computer skills (Office programs).
ADITIONAL INFORMATION
The candidate will work in a multiskilled 20+ people engineering team.
The position will report hierarchically and functionally to the Energy Manager and the Projects Engineering Manager at HQ level.
The usual workplace is Minor Hotels Europe & Americas regional offices in Madrid (Santa Engracia 120, 28003 Madrid, Spain). However, it is necessary to be willing to travel frequently to project sites.
Flexible hours (Monday to Thursday from 8.00 until 10.00 to 17.30 until 19.30. On Fridays from 8.00 to 14.00 or from 9.00 to 15.00).

¿Cuál será tu misión?
El hotel NH Collection Santiago de Compostela busca un Recepcionista temporal (baja) para que se una al equipo.
¿Qué tendrás que hacer?- Recibir y completar el proceso de check-in de todos los huéspedes y grupos que lleguen de forma puntual y profesional, así como completar el proceso de check-out de los huéspedes y grupos que se marchen.
- Gestionar la asignación de habitaciones en función de las características de los huéspedes (VIP, tradicionales, nuevos clientes, etc.) con el departamento correspondiente.
- Gestionar si es necesario, y asegurarse de mantener a la recepción y al equipo directivo plenamente informados de las peticiones, consultas, quejas y/o sugerencias de los huéspedes, tanto de los huéspedes como de otros departamentos.
- Conocer todos los productos y servicios del hotel, tarifas, promociones disponibles y paquetes de descuento, así como los eventos especiales y VIP diarios.
- Conocer y comunicar los servicios disponibles en el hotel (tales como reservas en restaurantes) e información general sobre seguridad.
- Maximizar la ocupación de habitaciones con las mejores tarifas (esto incluye cerrar ventas y extranets si es necesario).
- Utilizar técnicas de up-selling (promocionar el programa de fidelización de la empresa y Rewards, otros destinos, comidas y bebidas, transporte e instalaciones del hotel).
- Gestionar las reservas de habitaciones de los huéspedes.
- Proporcionar información a los huéspedes sobre la propiedad y los alrededores (museos, monumentos), incluidos eventos especiales, lugares de interés, restaurantes, actividades, etc. en la ciudad.
¿Qué buscamos?
