Job Description
SA&I is a department of NielsenIQ working on special analyses based on consumer and retailer data. In RTM, one of the pillars of SA&I, you will be in charge of delivering high end solutions to our external clients with the aim to drive their growth as well as to inspire and build strong relationships.
You will closely interact with your local sales team:
- Interact on a daily base with the sales team to align on projects, answer their questions etc
- Help the sales team by sharing information about the data, tools and methods
- Support during the briefing phase and when necessary attend client meetings for project scoping
- In close cooperation with the client and our sales department, based on the scope agreed upfront, you’ll take ownership for project management, the analysis, prepare and run RtM solutions which fully answer the needs of the client
- You will work out analytical insights and presentations that provide insights and allow data-based decision
- As part of projects, you will work interdisciplinary and lead the co-ordination with different teams to ensure high-quality delivery
- You will develop a deep understanding of our RtM tools and systems, as well as for our Nielsen product portfolio.
- You will continuously expand your knowledge of business topics, markets and Nielsen products.
- University studies and or comparable training qualifications
- FMCG background or Market Research background appreciated
- Deep understanding of customer business and challenges
- Strong analytical skill: very high affinity with numbers and the ability to convert numbers in insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, as well as excellent presentation skills
- Ability to build good relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Very good organizational and prioritization skills by staying flexible
- Very good project and time management, proven track record of the submission of projects on time and on budget
- Born team player
- Very good knowledge of Spanish and English, both in writing and orally. An additional language is a plus

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Research Scientist with a data-centric mindset to join our applied research and innovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, operationalization of AI/ML and process automation.
You will be responsible for analyzing data, researching the most appropriate techniques, and the development, testing, support and delivery of proof of concepts to resolve real-world and large-scale challenging problems.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and apply machine learning innovations with minimal technical supervision
- Understand the requirements from stakeholders and be able to communicate results and conclusions in a way that is accurate, clear and winsome
- Perform feasibility studies and analyse data to determine the most appropriate solution
- Work on many different data challenges, always ensuring a combination of simplicity, scalability, reproducibility and maintainability within the ML solutions and source code. Both data and software must be developed and maintained with high-quality standards and minimal defects
- Collaborate with other technical fellows on the integration and deployment of ML solutions. To work as a member of a team, encouraging team building, motivation and cultivating effective team relations
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent numerate discipline
- Demonstrated senior experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning & other AI fields
- Experience working with large datasets, production-grade code & operationalization of ML solutions
- EDA analysis & practical hands-on experience with datasets, ML models (Pytorch or Tensorflow) & evaluations
- Able to understand scientific papers & develop the idea into executable code
- Analytical mindset, problem solving & logical thinking capabilities
- Proactive attitude, constructive, intellectual curiosity & persistence to find answers to questions
- A high level of interpersonal & communication skills in English & strong ability to meet deadlines
- Python, Pytorch, Git, pandas, dask, polars, sklearn, huggingface, docker, databricks
- Masters degree &/or specialization courses in AI/ML. PhD in science is an added value
- Experience in MLOPs (MLFlow, Prefect) & deployment of AI/ML solutions to the cloud (Azure preferred)
- Understanding & practice of LLMs & Generative AI (prompt engineering, RAG)
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation, Time Series Forecasting & Predictive modeling
- A practical grasp of databases (SQL, ElasticSearch, Pinecone, Faiss)
- Previous experience in retail, consumer, ecommerce, business, FMCG products (NielsenIQ portfolio)

Job Description
Mission
- Develop Marketing Science solutions in the area of media analytics
- Support the product development during concept testing phases, scaling and production
- Transform proofs-of-concept into scalable, production-ready code
- Develop, implement and standardize marketing science solutions in proofs-of-concept and prototypes
- Continuously improve the efficiency of the marketing science products (e.g. ensure quality by adherence to coding guidelines, documentation and reproducibility)
- Optimize marketing science models using code optimization, high-performance computing and real-time techniques
- Build analytical pipelines at scale using cloud services, containerized applications and distributed systems
- Identify best practices and create continuous improvement of tools and methods
- Closely collaborate with Product Owners, Modellers, Marketing Scientists and Front End Software Engineers
- Bachelor or Master degree that reflects strong statistical/mathematical/computer science skills
- Strong expertize in Python usage - at least 3 years of development
- Understanding of R
- Experienced in statistical modelling on top of predictive modeling
- Able to manage code deployments (experience with GIT)
- Basic understanding of Dockerization – building and managing docker images
