The Position
What do we offer?
To be part of a new cohort of the Roche-CEU San Pablo postgraduate degree as an expert in the Pharmaceutical Industry. 11 months of internships at Roche, where you will participate in challenging projects and benefit from pioneering postgraduate training in the market about the pharmaceutical industry.
You will have the opportunity to get on-the-job training by working on key projects with your designated department from Monday to Thursday and attend in-person postgraduate classes at the university on Friday.
Our main location is Madrid, we are open to applications from all over Spain, but relocation will be needed as part of the program expectations. Office attendance is expected (with some flexibility) to enjoy the connection to our colleagues, network, and get exposure.
Last but not least, you will have mentorship by a Roche tutor who will give you continuous feedback to develop your professional skills. The mentors for the program are Roche's senior and experienced young talent development professionals.

Purpose of this internship?
Opportunity to be actively involved in omnichannel strategy, with a focus on enhancing customer experience, working across digital channels, driving innovation, and exploring the potential of Artificial Intelligence within the pharmaceutical industry.
What would be your main responsibilities as an intern?
Support Digital Experts in the design and implementation of digital strategies across therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include developing email marketing campaigns, managing social media content, extracting actionable insights to improve user experience, and contributing creative ideas to optimize digital engagement. The role also involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and leveraging digital tools and platforms to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions.
What are we looking for in this position?
- Recent graduates or university students who will obtain their degree in the summer, in fields such as Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Innovation, or any degree with a strong interest in digital transformation, customer experience, consumer behavior, or digital marketing
- Curiosity, proactivity, creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for innovation and the digital world
- We want proactive and curious candidates who are willing to learn and grow by challenging the status quo.
- We are looking for flexible talents who adapt to changes and are willing to collaborate with teams in a network organization.
- Advanced level of communication in English and Spanish
- Desirable to have international experience as a student or working abroad
- Passion for improving the lives of patients and motivation to give the best of yourself in an innovative and challenging environment
- Commitment to dedicate yourself full-time to the program from September 2025 to August 2026
- For international students, you must have a valid NIE or work permit in Spain

This role is based in the Global Procurement function, which supports Roche’s goal of bringing innovative solutions to patients through business and supplier partnerships. We act as the bridge between Roche business functions and our suppliers, delivering value through productivity, speed, risk management, sustainability, innovative solutions, and streamlined buying experiences.
The Opportunity
As the Senior Procurement Performance Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and promoting a performance culture and mindset. Your support in continuously improving our performance, portfolio, and resource management strategy, frameworks, and solutions will directly contribute to and enable the value we deliver to Roche and patients.
- You will drive the development of our portfolio, performance, and resource management frameworks, including processes, governance, and digital solutions
- You will own the provision of insightful and actionable performance data to enhance team capabilities and foster a high-performance environment through frequent and transparent communications
- You will lead the development and implementation of procurement performance targets, planning, and tracking realization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices
- You will evaluate and revise Savings Guidelines to meet current business needs and enhance collaboration between business, finance, and procurement
- You will strengthen the link between procurement and finance to optimize value contribution
- You will contribute to continuous improvements and support change initiatives in our portfolio, performance, and resource management solutions, processes, and frameworks to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and adoption
You will support the mentorship and development of a high-performing team, aiding professional growth and development while fostering a culture of accountability, outcomes delivery, and continuous improvement.
Who you are:
- You have finance or consulting expertise, with both passion and the resiliency to help shape the future of our performance-focused culture
- You hold a Master's degree in business management, supply chain management, finance, or a related field and progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or consulting
- You have experience driving or executing performance, portfolio, or resource management activities and a track record of achieving measurable results
- You understand procurement and finance activities and issues and apply knowledge of best practices to maximise the performance and effectiveness of solutions, processes, and services
- You have strong analytical and presentation skills, the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and the ability to craft meaningful messages for senior stakeholders and the broader organisation
- You are known for your excellent leadership and communication skills, proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams, and agility in adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptionally qualified applicants with many years of relevant experience but without a Master's degree are also encouraged to apply.
- You have experience as a finance manager (or in a similar role) and a deep practical understanding of performance and portfolio prioritisation and resource allocation activities

Our UK Pharmaceutical head office is situated in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, with beautiful countryside surrounding the area. Supported by major motorways & airports as well as being a 30 minute train ride to London, access is easy. Intern Simulation Engineer
Purpose of the role

We work with Agile methodologies and in cross site multidisciplinary teams.
Main responsibilities:
- Participate and contribute in the ideation, and development of complex algorithms, simulation and optimization models
- Execute scenarios and analyze the results
- Create, maintain and troubleshoot scenarios
- Support in the development of tools, simulation and optimization models
- Provide work status and issue notification within the current status of the tasks
As a new intern in the Solution Workflow Simulation subchapter, your day will involve collaborating closely with simulation engineers and various development teams across the company.
You'll be involved in internal initiatives and also contribute to better shape our contribution to product design.
This will bring you the opportunity to interact with different stakeholders such as product managers, definition teams, architects, developers, data scientists, and integration specialists. Expect to work on a variety of tasks, including gathering requirements, planning, development, research, and testing. You'll also dive into specific areas of our field, like data analysis, modeling, conducting simulations, and communicating insights effectively.
