Essence of the role:
- Chair the Regional Leadership team by being the glue in our matrix organization that aligns divisions and the functional teams together to create alignment and ensure employees engagement always keeping customer focus at the forefront. Encourage the Regional LT to proactively search for opportunities for synergy and collaboration.
- Senior Advocacy and External Activities: Elevate Stryker brand externally and internally by being an active player in trade associations (especially the local Medtech industry trade association) and championing our Talent offense (GPTW, Brand Equity, Talent attractiveness programs,…)
- Enterprise Accounts C-Suite Activities: Active participation in Enterprise accounts key activities such as building stronger C-Suite relations, sponsoring X-Div projects and deals in close collaboration with the Divisions and the COE KAM
- Lead a business (BUD role in the same region) will be the first choice. Leading function or a COE (in the same or larger region) are possible alternative. See specific JDs.
- Build organizational capability that supports the commercial teams, in attracting and developing a strong Regional Leadership team.
- Champion cross divisional collaboration
- Strengthen commercial strategy and deliver on budget – Sales, Op Income, Op Margin, CTG, Cash Flow.
- Accountability with legal and fiduciary where required.
- Function as a mentor to local leadership talent.
- Provide a voice to the VPGM on local talent collaboration.
- Be an advocate for specific country level commercial requirements (integrations, events) Actively sponsor and influence on pan-European initiatives

Sales & Customer Engagement
- Sell and demonstrate medical equipment in surgical and clinical environments.
- Acquire new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing, pharma, biology, bio-engineering or related experience/training in a medical, scientific, technical field
- Sales experience in Medical Devices or Pharma working with hospitals, strongly preferred
- Native or C2 level of Spanish and advanced level of English (B2 min)
