As we enter a new phase of growth, Tenity Spain is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial intern to join our team in Madrid. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership, contribute meaningfully, and grow within a dynamic global ecosystem. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and quality-focused, eager to support the delivery of our startup programs, corporate open innovation initiatives, and investment operations across Fintech, Insurtech and Regtech.
Key Task & Responsibilities
- Assist the Sr. Program Manager in the planning and execution of Open Innovation programs.
- Help coordinate logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, and participant communications.
- Collect and maintain program data and participant records.
- Support the Sr. Program Manager in maintaining relationships with corporate partners.
- Assist with the delivery of partner services and resources.
- Contribute to the preparation of partner reports and presentations.
- Provide administrative support to the Sr. Program Manager, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Help monitor the performance of portfolio companies and track key metrics.
- Collaborate with team members on various ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
- Support Tenity’s ecosystem startups and work directly with the founders
- Support the organise events that strengthen Tenity’s ecosystem
- Assist with administrative and project-based responsibilities
- Scout and pre-evaluate startups from Southern Europe for our Swiss-based VC fund
- Fluent communication (both written and verbal) capability in English and Spanish (Portuguese and/or Italian are big plus)
- Good communicator who can deliver their insights and opinions clearly in an organized manner
- High interest in the startup ecosystem, investments, financial services, and/or technology
- Self-starter who can work seamlessly in a team environment
- Pursuing degrees in business, finance, and/or technology
- Previous internship or professional experience in the financial services sector are plus
- Former Founder or Present Founder (MVP Stage as well) is a huge plus
- Only candidates who are physically based in Madrid area during the Internship will be considered for the position.
- Goal-oriented individual displaying a high level of tenacity and drive for excellence
- Self-starter willing to take on responsibilities that improve operational efficiency and deliverable quality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with founders and external stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial empathy and respect for early stage startup founders
- Ability to grasp and filter new ideas quickly and must have demonstrated great interest in the latest technology trends
- Ability to manage multiple projects and execute processes while working with diverse and/or remote stakeholders
- Ability to change the type of approach and problem-solving mode between companies and startups
