JUNIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER - MANUFACTURING

Steelcase Madrid offers the opportunity to join its team with a full-time contract. The person who joins the position will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department.

Responsabilities

Introduction of New Products:

• Lead new product industrialisation projects at the plant.
• Ensure that new products meet established cost targets, are implemented according to plan and within budget, and are in line with manufacturing capabilities.
  
  

Improvements

• Seek and implement improvements, in collaboration with other departments, in the areas of Safety, Quality, Service and Cost at the manufacturing plant.
  
  

Plant Support

• Provide support for manufacturing processes in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to minimise production interruptions.

Requirements

• Industrial Engineering or similar education with knowledge of manufacturing.
• High English level.
• Self-motivated and able to set own goals.
• Proactive and shows initiative.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in industrial environments is a plus.
