Our client is a leading organisation in the Life Science industry, based in Madrid. With a large workforce, the company is known for its cutting-edge research, development, and manufacturing of high-value biological medicines.

¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?

• Providing thorough business insights to the Commercial and Industrial Operations management and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting & Finance department.
• Perform financial reviews and variance analysis with stakeholders to monitor profitability and lead to financially-savvy decisions.
• Produce monthly analysis of the manufacturing sites: Plant result, production volumes, production added value, Inventories rotation, Capex & Opex monitoring, amongst other KPIs.
• Collaborate with the month-end closing reporting and consolidation, ensuring high standards and timely delivery to management (both internal and headquarters).
• Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecasting processes and lead the planning process of the commercial and production sites.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

• Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting. Finance-related postgraduate degree and/or professional qualification (CFA, CPA, CIMA) are highly valued.
• Solid experience and understanding of Financial Statements, budgeting & forecasting processes as well as with multi-currency geographies is a must.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Business Controller and/or Plant Controller in an industrial environment, ideally within the Pharma/Biotech industry is also appreciated.
• Experience preparing reports and presenting financials to non-financial executives is required.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business Objects, SAP BPC, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) required. Advanced level of Excel, Power Point. Power BI knowledge is valuable.
• Fluent English required (oral and written); knowledge of other languages will be an asset.
• Strong business acumen required; ability to deep-dive into details as well as having a more holistic, high-level view is needed.
