Illinois State University’s Goldar Lab In The School Of Biological Sciences Invites Applications For Fully-funded PhD And/or MSc Positions Beginning In Spring, Summer, Or Fall 2026. The Research Focus Is On Evolutionary Ecology, With Particular Emphasis On The Following Areas

– Chemical ecology

– Environmental gradients

– Climate change and plant–insect interactions

Research activities involve greenhouse, laboratory, and field experiments examining how biotic interactions, such as those between herbivores and pollinators, change across diverse environments and impact ecological performance.

Requirements

– Degree in Biology or a related discipline

– Demonstrated interest in evolutionary ecology

– Proficiency in English

– Experience in ecology, genetics, statistics, or plant-insect interactions is advantageous
