About the Role

We're looking for a Marketing & Communications Assistant to help us grow our media presence, refine messaging, and support external communications. This is a role for a creative and organized individual who wants hands-on experience and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing and scheduling content (LinkedIn, newsletters, press releases)
• Help coordinate interviews, partnerships, and PR placements
• Support email marketing and CRM updates
• Contribute ideas for new campaigns and outreach formats
• Research media outlets and track performance of content
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and Sales team on brand messaging

Qualifications

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Marketing Assistant to support our growing sales and marketing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited to contribute across all areas of marketing within a B2B SaaS company focused on utility-scale energy storage. Working under the guidance of the Head of Sales & Marketing (currently held by the Managing Director), and in close collaboration with our Product Management and Sales teams, you will help shape and execute our marketing strategy—from developing go-to market materials for cutting-edge energy solutions to driving awareness through content and digital engagement. This is a hands-on, learning-rich position designed for someone eager to grow their skills in a dynamic, mission-driven tech environment.

Key responsibilities

As a Marketing Intern you will:

Strategic & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Contribute to the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy in collaboration with leadership.

• Work closely with the Product Management team to translate technical features and roadmaps into market-ready messaging and product collateral.

• Align marketing activities with sales objectives and feedback from the Sales team to support lead generation and conversion.

Digital Marketing & Content Development

• Maintain and manage the company’s presence across digital channels (LinkedIn, website, newsletters).

• Create and publish B2B-focused content including case studies, product updates, whitepapers, and thought leadership posts.

• Help refine messaging for different customer personas (utilities, developers, IPPs, etc.).

Branding & Communication Performance Tracking & Optimization

• Ensure consistency of brand voice and visual identity across all touchpoints.

• Assist with the preparation of sales and marketing collateral such as pitch decks, brochures, landing pages, and email campaigns.

• Help organize webinars, conferences, and virtual or in-person events.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

• Support the setup, monitoring, and reporting of digital campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Hotjar, and CRM systems (internally used: Zoho).

• Analyze data to inform future campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.

Operational & Administrative Support

• Coordinate with external partners such as design agencies or content freelancers.

• Maintain shared asset libraries and campaign calendars.

• Assist with internal reporting and documentation for marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• A degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Advanced written and spoken English (C1+).

• Interest in technology, clean energy, and sustainability.

• Strong written communication skills, especially in crafting B2B messaging with technical nuance.

• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, design tools (internally used: Figma), and CRM or CMS systems is a plus.
