At Preply, we’re all about creating life-changing learning experiences. We help people discover the magic of the perfect tutor, craft a personalised learning journey, and stay motivated to keep growing. Our approach is human-led, tech-enabled - and it’s creating real impact.
We’ve just reached unicorn status with a $150M Series D, accelerating our vision to transform education through human-led, AI-enhanced learning. Today, 100,000+ tutors teach 90+ languages to learners in 180 countries - and we’re only getting started. As a category-defining company, we’re shaping what the future of learning looks like at global scale.
Every Preply lesson sparks change, fuels ambition, and drives progress that matters. Joining Preply means helping define the future of education at global scale, and building something that truly matters for millions of people, every day.
Meet the team!
The Platform Tribe at Preply brings together teams responsible for the internal foundations that enable engineers to build, deploy, and operate Preply reliably and at scale. Today, we have around 200 engineers at Preply, with plans to grow the team by another 100 engineers this year, making the Platform Tribe a critical enabler of our next phase of growth.
As the first Platform Product Manager, you will own internal platform products that reduce developer friction, improve reliability, and increase delivery speed while bringing a product mindset to platform capabilities.
The role focuses on defining and evolving paved paths used by engineering teams, translating engineering constraints into clear product decisions, and measuring and reducing developer friction. You will also drive the adoption of platform capabilities and navigate hard trade-offs between flexibility and standardization.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain product charters for platform products, including users, problem statements, non-goals, and success metrics.
- Define and own the vision, roadmap, and OKRs for core platform capabilities.
- Identify and prioritize developer pain points using qualitative and quantitative signals with the focus on impact.
- Translate platform needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Partner with engineering to evaluate technical trade-offs and solutions, focusing on scalable platform capabilities rather than custom solutions for individual teams.
- Drive adoption of platform standards across teams.
- Define and track success metrics such as developer productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Align platform investments with company growth and scaling goals.
- Run discovery through developer interviews, Dev Experience surveys, support interruptions, incident reviews, and platform metrics (e.g. DORA, CI/CD reliability).
- Lead migrations and deprecations with empathy, clarity, and consistency.
- Work closely with EMs and Staff+ engineers, spending most of your time embedded with engineering teams.
- Strong product thinking combined with technical literacy in software engineering, developer tooling, or systems.
- Experience working with highly technical internal products (platforms, tooling, infra, or developer-facing systems).
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and conflicting priorities.
- Proven ability to challenge priorities and drive alignment across internal stakeholders.
- A bias for leverage, defaults, and standards, grounded in the belief that standardization unlocks creativity.
- Solid conceptual understanding of/familiarity with:
- Cloud platforms and infrastructure;
- Modern distributed systems;
- Trade-offs between Reliability vs velocity, Abstraction vs flexibility, Standardization vs team autonomy;
- SLOs, DORA metrics, and cost efficiency metrics.
- Ability to review and challenge technical RFCs and architecture proposals at a conceptual, outcome-oriented level.
- Nice-to-have: prior hands-on experience as a software engineer or Engineering Manager before transitioning into Product.
- An open, collaborative, dynamic and diverse culture;
- A generous monthly allowance for lessons on Preply.com, Learning & Development budget and time off for your self-development;
- A competitive financial package with equity, leave allowance and health insurance;
- Not in Barcelona? We offer an attractive relocation package to join us in our Preply Barcelona Hub
- Access to free mental health support platforms;
- Access to Gympass-partnered wellness and gym centers throughout Spain to promote and support well-being and physical health;
- The opportunity to unlock the potential of learners and tutors through language learning and teaching in 175 countries (and counting!).
- Care to change the world - We are passionate about our work and care deeply about its impact to be life changing.
- We do it for learners - For both Preply and tutors, learners are why we do what we do. Every day we focus on empowering tutors to deliver an exceptional learning experience.
- Keep perfecting - To create an outstanding customer experience, we focus on simplicity, smoothness, and enjoyment, continually perfecting it as every detail matters.
- Now is the time - In a fast-paced world, it matters how quickly we act. Now is the time to make great things happen.
- Disciplined execution - What makes us disciplined is the excellence in our execution. We set clear goals, focus on what matters, and utilize our resources efficiently.
- Dive deep - We leverage business acumen and curiosity to investigate disparities between numbers and stories, unlocking meaningful insights to guide our decisions.
- Growth mindset - We proactively seek growth opportunities and believe today's best performance becomes tomorrow's starting point. We humbly embrace feedback and learn from setbacks.
- Raise the bar - We raise our performance standards continuously, alongside each new hire and promotion. We build diverse and high-performing teams that can make a real difference.
- Challenge, disagree and commit - We value open and candid communication, even when we don’t fully agree. We speak our minds, challenge when necessary, and fully commit to decisions once made.
- One Preply - We prioritize collaboration, inclusion, and the success of our team over personal ambitions. Together, we support and celebrate each other's progress.
Preply.com is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people of diverse backgrounds can thrive. We believe that the presence of different opinions and viewpoints is a key ingredient for our success as a multicultural Ed-Tech company. Senior Product Engineer
cirqlone · Barcelona, ES
ERP
At Cirql One, we are building the foundational layer that connects enterprise data to AI: a layer that doesn’t just relay information, but genuinely understands it, making business meaning explicit, trusted, and actionable at scale.
The problem we’re solving is deceptively hard. SAP runs the core operations of more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies. The data is reliable. The meaning, however, is buried inside 30 years of configurations, customizations, and undocumented logic that no AI system can interpret on its own. We’ve spent decades inside these environments. We know the problem intimately, and we’ve built our company around a single conviction: before AI can truly scale inside the enterprise, business meaning must be made explicit.
Cirql One is that missing link: an enterprise semantic intelligence layer that gives AI models and agents a shared, business-accurate understanding of enterprise data. Our vision is to become the system of reason sitting above SAP, where intelligence, metrics, and AI automation are defined, governed, and executed.
For a talented, driven, and collaborative product engineer, working at Cirql One is an opportunity to shape how enterprise intelligence becomes something people actually want to use. You will own the full arc of a feature: from the data model to what lands on screen, on a team that takes both the craft and the mission seriously. That is our promise.
Tasks
• Own features end-to-end. Take a problem from idea to shipped product. You won’t hand things off at the frontend layer. You’ll see every feature through, and you’ll care about how it works and how it feels.
• Shape the product surface. Work directly with founders and design to define how the platform communicates with its users. Translate complex semantic intelligence into interfaces that feel clear, fast, and considered.
• Build the semantic core. Contribute to the platform that transforms raw enterprise data into structured, business-accurate meaning: from data extraction pipelines to semantic storage, versioning, and governance.
• Make principled technical decisions. Balance long-term platform coherence with the speed that early-stage demands. Push back when it matters. Adapt when it doesn’t.
• Amplify your impact with AI. Build AI capabilities into the product itself, and use the most powerful AI tools across your development workflow to move faster without compromising on quality.
Requirements
• Full-stack depth. Solid experience building and shipping user-facing products: comfortable across frontend interfaces, APIs, and backend systems. Technical decisions that hold up over time.
• Product sensibility. You care about UX, speed, and polish. You can spot a subpar solution and say so. You think about what to build, not just how.
• AI-first by default. Proficient with Claude Code and agentic workflows: not as a novelty, but as a core part of how you work every day.
• Sharp thinking. Break down complex problems methodically, reach well-reasoned conclusions. Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty.
• Clear communicator. Express ideas precisely in code, writing, and conversation. Walk non-technical colleagues through a technical decision without oversimplifying.
• Collaborative by default. Share knowledge freely, back the best idea regardless of where it came from. Someone colleagues genuinely want to build with.
Nice to have:
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT systems, or data lake architectures.
• Background in semantic systems: knowledge graphs, ontology mapping, or data catalogs.
• Exposure to SAP data structures or enterprise ERP environments.
• Prior startup experience. You know what early-stage actually means.
Benefits
• Competitive compensation. Fair and attractive pay that reflects the seniority and impact of the role.
• A growing team. We are scaling deliberately, bringing in people who raise the bar. Your scope grows as the company does.

Mapit IoT
Head of Product & Tech (AI-first)
Mapit IoT · Barcelona, ES
Teletrabajo . SaaS IoT
Barcelona
- Híbrido
- Full-time
- Contrato indefinido y salario competitivo, acorde a tu experiencia y responsabilidad
- Dispositivos y Suscripciones Mapit gratuitos
