Required Skills for this Role:
· Technical proficiencies will require previous experience working with Java (JVM) ideally in a cloud-native environment (their Infrastructure is AWS), a recent hands-on understanding is necessary to pair-programme, mentor, support and lead the engineering teams by example
· Previous experience of leading an engineering team of 6+ engineers, promoting a culture of high-performance, cultivating a “product” mindset to solve complex, nuanced business problems and translating in-to tangible software solutions
· Break down the barriers of linking the core business & your engineering teams, fostering an environment of collaboration always with a “growth” mindset to pro-actively capture new business requirements for emerging markets, or existing clients to be the go-to solution in the travel-tech space
