The Customer Success Managers (CSM) collaborates with the different teams within the Amazon Robotics organization to provide support to site operations teams. The CSM team supports Operations coaching site leadership on operational best practices in regards of the usage of amazon robotics products, systems and tools.
As a CSM, you will work directly with operations leadership at Amazon Fulfillment and Sort Centers to meet or exceed the as designed performance of their robotic technology and processes. You will identify operational pain-points, translate those into opportunities enabling product and/or process changes to improve system performance and customer sentiment. The successful candidate will work backwards from the customer and influence a broad range of operations, engineering, product, deployment and solution stakeholders from Global Robotics and Operations to ensure Europe operations, engineering, support, and other organizations become effective utilizing Amazon Robotics’ technologies.
You will use your technical acumen, program management, organizational change management, and communication skills to align a broad range of support initiatives for the customer. You will own and drive execution excellence for your portion of the end-to-end support model (e.g., technical, operational, organizational, and educational) that span several teams, levels, and cross-functional business units.

Key job responsibilities
- Independently monitor, identify and address trending operational performance issues and define improvement opportunities, and implement solutions in the network.
- Develop and implement mechanisms and processes to enable your team to scale with a growing AR network, build subject matter expertise, and innovate to address the needs of operations and AR customers.
- Facilitating network-wide rollouts of new robotic technologies and tools, and supporting operations’ scalability of new robotic systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identifying requirements and capturing “voice of the customer” product/service feedback to influence product design and development priorities.
- Coaching site managers on AR best practices and robotics systems and tools.
- ~30-35% travel expected
The CSM team focuses on achieving the “as-designed” AR system performance through targeted efforts in associate workflow improvements, directed work, development of operational tools, and initiatives to improve capacity, quality and throughput. During high volume events the CSM team works with Operational support partners to prepare readiness plans for the entire AR Network. The CSM team will identify sites with lower performance relative to their design targets, establish the performance improvement plans, and prepare the network level communications daily. The primary customers of the CSM Team are Amazon Site Operations leadership, AR Leadership and AR Product and Solution Vertical teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent
- Experience in customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
- Experience leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion
- Experience on technical project management and on the field rollout in Fulfillment or Sort centers
- PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification
- Knowledge of data analytics tools, specifically SQL for data extraction and manipulation, combined with experience in using visualization platforms such as Amazon QuickSight or Tableau. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing statistical analysis on extracted datasets to derive meaningful insights.

Funciones principales;
- Programar y configurar los robots para las diferentes aplicaciones industriales: Manipulación, masilla, Soldadura por puntos, MIG/MAG, Tuckers, Vision…
- Realizará la programación offline del robot en las oficinas del cliente acorde a las necesidades del cliente y del proyecto.
- Realizará la carga de los programas de robot en la instalación. Una vez esté mecánicamente montada y eléctricamente instalada, realizará los ajustes de programación necesarios para su correcto funcionamiento.
- Configurará, probará y verificará la correcta funcionalidad de los equipos periféricos que la instalación contenga.
- Configurará nuevos equipos y optimizará los programas de robots para su rendimiento y eficiencia.
- Probará y verificará la comunicación con el PLC.
- Realizará, verificará y probará los diferentes programas y rutinas de los robots.
- Realizara la documentación necesaria que exija el cliente durante el proyecto y para la aceptación final del mismo.
Mínimo 2-3 años de experiencia como programador de robots.
- Conocimientos de lenguaje y programación en dos de los principales modelos de robot, sea:

- Haber trabajado sector automoción.
- Disponibilidad para estar desplazado a nivel internacional (proyectos en Francia, Alemania... de alrededor de 1 año con posibilidad de volver a BCN 4 días cada 3 semanas).

Amazon is seeking an experienced and business oriented Engineering Project Manager to lead the capacity, capital planning and project execution for the continued expansion of our EU fulfillment network. Successful candidates will have strong level of ownership and be highly motivated individuals who have Engineering Program and Project Management experience. The role will understand the details of an Amazon Fulfillment Center design, implementation, modeling, estimating and managing new Fulfillment Center start-up’s. This individual will lead a project team and provide leadership in managing the build specifications; pre-contract work, internal teams and vendor relations. This individual will be responsible for managing critical path and helping other teams deliver network capacity on time. The Engineering Project Manager will drive and invent and simplify strategy, will have high work capacity while being detailed oriented and agile to manage business changes and keep driving the initiatives. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization in order to be successful.
You will travel extensively (50-85%) to locations in Europe and occasionally to international sites.
Key job responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects (planning, feasibility, design, installation, commissioning and qualification, launch and support)
- Coordinate critical path items, dive deep on technical details and provide innovative solutions to resolve issues
- Assess and communicate project status, manage escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams
- Prepare and conduct weekly standing meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to plan and track deliverables
- Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions for material handling and storage technologies that meet both business needs and global design standards
- Assist in providing equipment specifications and technical support to procurement and other businesses
- Collaborate closely with various internal teams such as World-Wide Engineering, Design & Construction, Operations, Reliability Maintenance Engineering, IT and Procurement
You will be interacting daily with a wide variety of functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization and in multiple time zones. You will conduct multiple weekly meetings with internal teams, stakeholders and vendors to plan and manage deliverables. You’ll be liaising with subject matter experts from across the organization, diving deep in the technologies we deploy; you’ll build on these relationships to refine and improve our processes.
