Meaningful Work From Day One
This position will drive brand advocacy, awareness, and affinity for SPP portfolio brands by actively engaging target audiences through dynamic product education, immersive experiential marketing, and impactful on- and off-premise support. The goal is to build long-term relationships with key trade partners and consumers, ultimately contributing to market growth and increased sales volume within the defined territory.
What You Can Expect
- Expanding Mental Availability
- Continue to build relationships with the light house bars and restaurants in Spain most important 8 key cities with focus in Madrid and Barcelona so that our SPP brands are available and advocated for in these key venues.
- Explore partnership opportunities that extend the reach and drive engagement
- Work closely with Global Brand Teams to formulate and implement brand and communication plans
- Global Expansion & physical availability
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify key lighthouse accounts.
- Cultivate relationships with key trade leaders, influential bars and bartenders to create advocates of our SPP brands within the influential on-trade.
- Lead the design of bespoke POS items for top end trade.
- Education and Training
- Identify opportunities for training and education, both internally and externally
- Develop scalable experiences built around the Advocacy pillars of Education, Engagement and Inspiration.
- Manage training and education calendar
- Plan and execute brand homeplace visits to the distillery
- Onboard local brand ambassadors and local marketing teams.
- Represent SPP brands at key internal meetings, inc national conferences and distributor meetings
- Be fully conversant and up to date on all aspects of production and new products/product changes, consistently demonstrating the ability to understand and represent the brands appropriately, ensuring training tools are updated in a timely manner.
- Flag concerns over quality, or in market feedback giving cause for concern, in a timely manner, to enable the Global team and Corporate Affairs to manage effectively
- Budget Management
- Controls and executes A&P budget for bespoke brand activity within top end trade.
- Effectively allocating on initiatives that make the biggest impact
- Invoice management and processing.
- Previous experience in an advocacy or similar position
- Professional knowledge of the Global High End On Trade, including restaurants
- A strong network within the global influential hospitality arena (Bars, Hotels & Restaurants)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and “can do” attitude.
- Fluent English and Spanish, both spoken and written
- Great analytical skills, commercially savvy and solution focused to solving problems
- Compelling storytelling skills
