🎨 UI/UX Designer

Our client, a fast-growing Insurtech scale-up, is looking for a UI/UX designer.

📍 Location: Barcelona, Hybrid set-up (min. 2 days/week in office)

💼 Contract: Freelance or Permanent

🚀 Your Mission

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experiences. You’ll combine creativity, user empathy, and data-driven thinking to design products that truly resonate with users and deliver business impact.

✨ What You’ll Do

🖌️ UI Design

• Bring ideas to life through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Design intuitive, user-centric interfaces aligned with product goals
• Elevate the product’s look & feel through typography, color, iconography, and motion design

🔍 UX & User-Centered Thinking

• Deeply understand user needs through research, personas, and usability testing
• Simplify complex journeys into smooth, frictionless experiences
• Run user research, workshops, and A/B tests to validate and refine your designs

🤝 Collaboration & Impact

• Partner closely with Product Managers to shape product vision and priorities
• Work hand-in-hand with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Act as a bridge between teams, ensuring alignment across product, tech, and business stakeholders

⚡ Prototyping & Iteration

• Build interactive prototypes to quickly test and validate ideas
• Lead user testing sessions and transform feedback into actionable improvements
• Continuously iterate to deliver best-in-class user experiences

🎯 Design System & Consistency

• Contribute to and evolve a scalable Design System
• Ensure consistency and excellence across all platforms and touchpoints
• Define and document best practices and design guidelines

🧰 Your Toolkit

• Strong expertise with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (or similar tools)
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and Design Thinking methodologies
• Experience with interactive prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, Marvel…)
• Interest or experience in leveraging AI in the design process 🤖
