Key Responsibilities
- Be a contributing member of the team of innovative and reflective practitioners.
- Prepare top thinkers to excel in problem solving competitions and Olympiads at the highest level.
- Teach classes in Mathematics and either IT or Physics, leading by example through your own dynamic approach to teaching and learning in your classroom.
- Foster a passion for learning and expand knowledge and understanding in Mathematics.
- Shape and implement a pioneering approach to education in these fields.
- Create an environment that nurtures a spirit of inquiry and creativity.
- Nurture students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, international competitions, Olympiads, and scientific research projects.
- Ensure true subject mastery and excellence in curriculum design.
- Develop strategies to help talented students perform outstandingly in all academic and extracurricular endeavors.
- Be actively involved in the co-curricular activities of the school.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in a Mathematical field.
- Strong experience in international schools, with experience of teaching British Curriculum Mathematics, including a track record of success in competitive international examinations and Olympiads.
- Strong knowledge of, and experience in nurturing inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills, and their application in real-world contexts.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
- Accomplished in using technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.
- Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in Mathematics pedagogy.
