Sales Manager – Wärtsilä Biogas Solutions (Location: Valencia, Spain)
Wärtsilä Biogas Solutions is a leading provider of high-quality solutions for biogas upgrading & liquefaction solutions including CO2 liquefaction. As Europe accelerates its transition from fossil fuels to green energy, biogas is becoming an increasingly important part of a sustainable, circular energy system. To support this growth, we are expanding our international sales team and seeking an energetic and structured Sales Manager to be based in Valencia, Spain and contribute to our continued success across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the market in Spain and Portugal for biogas upgrading & liquefaction and CO2 liquefaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive them from lead to closure – including budget proposals, commercial offers, and customer negotiations leading to signed agreements.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with existing and new customers.
- Build and maintain a strong network of key market stakeholders including consultants, project developers, and industry associations.
- Monitor and report on market developments, including competitive landscape, and share insights with relevant internal teams.
- Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience within the biogas or related energy sectors.
- Valid driving license.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and verbal).
- Prior experience in the biogas / energy sector is a strong advantage.
- Strong drive to support the green energy transition.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex biogas upgrading and liquefaction technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships with clients, developers, EPCs, consultants, and industry influencers.
- Knowledge of Spain’s renewable energy policies, incentives, and regulatory framework
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
- Persuasive communicator who can lead technical-commercial negotiations to a successful close
- Proactive, self-driven, and accountable – able to take initiative and deliver results.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Spain and occasionally to other European countries.
- Comfortable working in international teams and across diverse European business cultures
- A position within a dynamic and future-focused company at the forefront of green energy.

Skipper
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Valencia, Spain.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Skipper, you will be responsible for operating any of our boats and collaborating in their maintenance and operations.
As Skipper, Your Work Will Focus On These Responsibilities
- Exercise command of the vessel on which you are designated.
- Carry out the necessary maneuvers required by the work.
- Cooperate as necessary with diving teams.
- Maintenance of our boats.
- Carry out transfers of our vessels between ports on the Spanish east coast, especially Valencia.
- Medical recognition of ism in force.
- All certificates necessary for boarding.
- Port skipper title (Skipper and Chief engineer simultaneously on boats up to 100 GT, issued by Spain)
- Skipper limited title or higher.
- Basic level of maritime English.
- Spoken and written Spanish.

Assembler
To join our team working for a better future. The position is temporary and the preferred location is in Porriño.
What You Will Be Doing
In this position, your work will include the deburring, cleaning and mounting in the fitting area. On a typical day, you might start making assemblies and finish packing them for dispatch. You will not be working on this alone - even though the work requires a high level of independence, you will have the support from your supervisor and your teammates.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a good understanding of manufacturing standards and experience working with your hands. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from other manufacturing environments, and knowledge of manufacturing processes. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you have a good attitude and willingness to learn
As Assembler, Your Work Will Focus On These Responsibilities
- Configuration of tools and accessories
- Use of measuring equipment
- Quality control of own work
- Assembly work following assembly instructions
- Use of engineering machinery [.g.e. columns drills, hand tools, band saws, etc.]
- Painting, Deburring of machined parts
- Use of overhead cranes
- Communicate with all operations teams to ensure proactive actions are taken to
- Communicate with all operations teams to ensure proactive actions are taken to comply with OTIF.
- Continuous improvement related to processes and procedures.
- All tasks performed must be performed safely by following H&S safety procedures.
- Any other function that may be necessary.
