About the role:
Sales Director – Spain is a strategic leadership role focused on accelerating growth in the Spanish market. You will define the commercial strategy, lead the sales organization and strengthen the company’s position as a leading partner in Payroll outsourcing and HCM SaaS solutions.
As part of a European HR solutions group with strong international presence and a well-established structure in Spain, the company is entering a new phase of expansion with a clear focus on increasing market share and developing new business opportunities.
Your mission is to drive sustainable growth, reinforce the company’s positioning in the Spanish market and ensure commercial excellence at national level.
Your Responsibilities
Market Strategy
Define and execute the national sales strategy aligned with European growth objectives.
Design the market segmentation approach (Mid-Market & Enterprise).
Identify expansion opportunities across sectors and territories.
Ensure profitable and sustainable growth.
Business Development
Lead complex sales cycles for SaaS Payroll and MPS/BPO solutions.
Engage with C-level stakeholders (CEO, CFO, HR Directors).
Manage structured procurement processes and long sales cycles, including RFPs.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts.
Team Leadership
Build, structure and develop the sales team in Spain.
Implement commercial methodology and performance culture.
Define KPIs, reporting structure and forecasting discipline.
Ensure alignment with marketing and delivery teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, operations and European leadership teams.
Contribute to strategic initiatives at country level.
Your Profile
Experience
Expirence in B2B complex solution sales.
Proven experience in MPS/BPO or HCM SaaS.
Experience leading commercial teams.
Strong track record of revenue growth in competitive markets.
Market Knowledge
Deep understanding of the Spanish Payroll and HR landscape.
Solid knowledge of labor environment and outsourcing dynamics.
Experience in consultative, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
Leadership & Competencies
Strategic mindset with strong execution capability.
Data-driven and performance-oriented leadership.
Credibility and confidence in C-level interactions.
