Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Content Editor to join our Gambling US team. You will play an important role in ensuring we have high-quality, SEO-optimised content that is accurate and helpful for our target audiences. You will do this by liaising with SEO and Head of Content, producing briefs for writers, and editing writers’ work for the project. You will also create content yourself on occasion.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with industry trends, and content industry best practices and leverage this knowledge to provide insights and suggestions for improving content quality and relevance
- Publish, write, edit, and proof-read gambling content for English-speaking markets (Primarily US)
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to create content briefs for publishing new content, and similarly for updating existing content
- Work with freelancers, in-house writers, and other relevant teams (such as Design, SEO, Product, and Affiliation) to publish SEO-optimized and user-friendly content, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards and effectively communicates key messages
- Conduct fact-checking and ensure that all information presented in the content is accurate, reliable, and supported by credible sources
- Contribute to content planning and strategy by browsing market trends and suggesting topic ideas
- Work closely with the rest of the content team to maintain an editorial calendar, keeping it organized, and ensuring timely delivery of content and adherence to project deadlines
- Conduct thorough reviews of existing content for SEO optimization to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic
- Proven experience as an Editor or similar role in the iGaming industry
- Confident using WordPress
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong knowledge of online gambling terminology, trends, and best practices
- Good knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, as well as experience utilizing SEO tools for keyword research
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for online gambling and a desire to stay informed about industry developments
- Proactive and able to bring new ideas to the team
- Knowledge of the US gambling markets, as well as a general idea of the gambling markets internationally
- Experience working for a gambling affiliate company
- A marketing or business background
- Follows crypto news and has an understanding of the most popular cryptocurrencies available
- Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and image generation

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Content Editor for region South Europe, you will be responsible for the creation of local content in email, push and hm.com in all countries included (FR, BE, ES, PT and IT), you will plan, create and execute content to add customer value, a strong brand image and ensuring customer relevance for all local activities - with the aim to drive traffic and engagement as well as new customers to H&M.
Your key responsibilities include:
CONTENT CREATION
- Be fully immersed in the local daily customer communications plan to understand customer need, purpose and effect of local activities
- Closely collaborate with Media leads and Digital team to create the best customer relevant content, optimized for customer target groups, channel characteristics and best practice.
- Based on global guidelines, templates and brand identity, create master briefs for email and push for all local activities (full price & deals). This includes writing master copy in English, securing assortment selection and composing layouts in existing templates.
- Brief & coordinate with other teams and team members to execute translations, localizing and publishing of local content
- Coordinate with the Global Media team to ensure that the latest guidelines and templates are used
- Create variations of copy and content to enable AB tests in email, push and hm.com
- Conduct analysis on how the local content performs for the different customer target groups and visualize learnings in a sharable format
- Share content insights & learnings with local, regional and global teams
- Be fully immersed in the different customer target groups to understand how content should be crafted and composed in the most relevant way
- Based on customer insights and data, secure that the content created is what the customer wants and what creates the best effect towards the set KPIs
You will be part of the Customer Activation team within the Omni Sales Team, collaborating closely with:
- Global Content Producer teams for global projects and guidelines.
- Regional Digital, Media and Insights teams for local activations and promotions.
We are looking for people with:
- Marketing or Creative copy/Design degree –or working experience in content editor roles in agency or client side (preferably within fashion) - “creative roles or awareness of the digital fashion industry”
- Experience from coordinating with many stakeholders and teams
- Visual eye for composing content storytelling and assets according to tone of voice, brand guidelines and templates
- Good understanding of content in digital channels such as email, push and websites
- Good knowledge of working in creative tools, CMS and MS Office package
- Excellent English in speaking and writing.
- Passionate about fashion, content production and with knowledge of technical vocabulary.
- Structured, organized, and efficient, while also being creative.
- Analytical and insights-driven, with the ability to track performance and optimize content strategies.
