Ribbon is looking for a proven, highly successful Pre-Sales Engineer to support an Enterprise and Channel account base. The Senior Systems Engineer (SSE) will provide technical assistance to the Account Director and is responsible for all pre-sales technical efforts as well as post-sale support on those accounts. In addition, the SSE will provide guidance and help to other Sales Engineers assigned on an as needed basis to target specific opportunities.
The SSE will work with the Account Director to identify revenue opportunities within an identified group of named accounts and geographic territory and will help drive into new accounts using his technical knowledge of trends within the industry.
The SSE will coordinate and provide technical support to ensure that the best and most appropriate Ribbon solution is selected. They will be expected to develop an in depth for developing and present product and application presentations to potential partners and customers. They will act as lead technical resource on technical Bids, RFI's and RFP's directing the efforts of the Bids and Proposals Team at corporate, providing high-level network architecture support and working with Professional Services to validate customer architecture. They will interface with Ribbon PLM and Marketing to review and plan for customer requirements. They will coordinate and lead lab trials directing a variety of resources; interface with customers and Ribbon engineering as issues arise, monitor bug fixes and track feature development in code releases and ensure that the relationship between Ribbon and the assigned account is strong. They will provide ongoing technical presentations to various organizations within the assigned accounts to uncover future opportunities and to strengthen the business relationship.
- Responsible for the pre-sales of Ribbon products/systems.
- Provide deep level technical assistance to the regional Account Manager for accounts in Enterprise and Channel partners within the theatre.
- Oversee all Pre- and Post-sales efforts within the assigned accounts.
- Demonstrates an excellent overall understanding of the telecommunications and enterprise / channel industry, its products, services and technologies.
- Provides technical support in sales presentations, quotation development and product demonstrations
- Has a passion for quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced rapidly changing environment with a hands-on mentality toward assigned tasks and responsibilities
- Work with the Account Director/Team to identify revenue opportunities within the targeted account base (both existing and new).
- Coordinate and proactively provide technical support to ensure that Ribbon solutions are selected.
- Develop and present product and application solutions to potential customers.
- Ability to interact and influence people within different areas of the organization
- Respond to technical questions, bids, RFQ’s, RFI's, RFP's.
- Provide high-level network architecture support and work with the Ribbon Professional Services team to validate customers' architecture.
- Coordinate and lead Service Provider, partner and enterprise lab trials and proof of concepts.
- Interface with Ribbon PLM and Marketing to review and proactively plan for customer requirements.
- Provide answers to customer enquiries concerning system software requirements, and applications and provide guidance and consultation to prospective users. i.e. become the distributors, partners and customers trusted advisors.
- Comfortable in training partners on product releases and roadmap updates.
- Interface with customers, and Ribbon engineering as issues arise, monitor bug fixes and track feature development in code releases.
- Ensure that the relationship between Ribbon and the assigned accounts is extremely strong and proactively look for ways to grow Ribbon business.
- Conduct on-going technical presentations to various organizations within the assigned Service Provider and Enterprise / Channel Theatre to uncover future opportunities and to strengthen the business relationship.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities and work with solution partners and emerging channels to win new business and grow the footprint within the territory.

- Experience in the Telecom industry with a proven track record of selling and partnering with Enterprise accounts, Systems Integrators, Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Providers
- Experience inCRM use preferred to create quotes around Ribbon Technologies.

¿QUÉ TE HARÁ TRIUNFAR?
-Al menos 1-2 años de experiencia trabajando con ALFRESCO.
-Se valorará:
• Conocimientos en SpringBoot, AWS, Docker, Liferay, etc.
- Base de datos: Conocimientos básicos de SQL, conceptos claros. Deseable que conozca lo que es un ORM, aunque no es indispensable.
- Diseño: Que sepa cómo se estructura una aplicación, con capacidad de entender y afrontar diseños de una aplicación utilizando patrones de diseño por capas, aun siendo aplicaciones monolíticas son clientes ligeros.
- Integración continua: Deseable que tenga claro lo que es la integración continua y como implementarla, en nuestro caso para algunos proyectos usamos Jenkins.
- Transaccionalidad: Que tenga claro los conceptos de transaccionalidad en las aplicaciones, para saber cómo donde y cuando es necesario realizar un rollback.
- Gestión de hilos: Un perfil senior debe tener conocimiento de los problemas que desencadenan una alta concurrencia. Tener la capacidad de afrontar un problema donde dos hilos pueden coincidir y poder sincronizarlos en caso de ser necesario.
- Frontend: En estos momentos estamos trabajando con Vuejs no buscamos una persona que sepa exactamente de Vuejs (aunque sería deseable). Pero al menos, si tenga conocimientos de Javascript para que su aprendizaje sea lo más rápido y sencillo.
- Microservicios, Docker, Docker compose.

As a Technical Support Engineer you will own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues. - You review, investigate and solve customer technical issues, collaborating within and across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices
- You participate in communities with peer delivery roles.
- You develop specific technical and professional proficiency to enable you to understand and resolve customer issues, through training and readiness.
- You identify potential product defects and provide feedback to more senior engineers, contributing to Microsoft product improvements
Required
Extensive technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience
- Experience in Network Security Engineering or consulting, and, or Systems Administration with focus on security concepts, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel
- Customer facing support experience
- Experience on Windows Server, Windows Client, Active Directory and, or Azure Active Directory Administration
- Enterprise cloud experience with any of the major cloud providers, including cloud security, networking, and migration of multi-cloud or hybrid deployments
- Experience supporting large and complex geographically distributed enterprise environments with 1000+ users
- Proficient level of English language is required.
- Scripting and automation (PowerShell or Python, Java, or a similar language, can be a beginner to intermediate level).
- Experience with Linux
- Containers
- Vulnerability Assessment
Portuguese OR Spanish Language: fluent in reading, writing and speaking. English Language: confident in reading, writing and speaking.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
