About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and health oriented Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) to lead Casas Heddy Lanzarote into the future. As CEO, you will be responsible
for delivering on our brand promise: helping people take charge of their health.
The position requires strong leadership, operational experience and product
development skills. It requires a strong background in health, recovery and
rehabilitation—either from a professional/clinical perspective or through operational
leadership in the health, or rehabilitation industries.
The CEO will act as the strategic link between the Board of Directors and the operations
team, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience while driving growth,
innovation, and international reputation. The CEO will be supported by a Hotel
Manager, who will oversee day-to-day hotel operational departments (food and
beverage, reception, housekeeping and maintenance)
Key Responsibilities
● Strategic Leadership
● Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the resort in
alignment with Board objectives.
● Position the resort as a leading international destination for recovery and
rehabilitation.
● Customer Experience & Product Development
● Oversee and refine the full customer journey, ensuring a seamless and
personalized guest experience.
● Continuously review and develop the health, training and rehabilitation
programs in collaboration with health professionals.
● Serve as a visible and approachable leader, engaging directly with guests
to understand their needs and enhance services throughout the resort
● Market Positioning
● Build strong relationships with strategic health authorities, communities,
and partners to strengthen the resort’s brand.
● Expand international reach and appeal through multilingual engagement
and culturally sensitive leadership.
● Business Performance
● Drive growth in occupancy, new market position, program participation,
and customer loyalty.
● Conduct market research to guide operational strategy towards the
European market.
● Ensure financial sustainability and operational efficiency without
compromising quality.
● Provide leadership, training, direction, and support to hotel employees.
● Manage budgets and financial performance; analyze and interpret
financial information.
● Present key financial data at board meetings.
● Conduct employment meetings and implement Objective Key Results
(OKRs).
Candidate Profile
● Proven senior leadership experience (min 5 years) in health, rehabilitation,
wellness, hospitality, or a related industry.
● Demonstrated expertise in either health/training/rehabilitation program
development or operational management of health-related services.
● Strong cultural knowledge of work ethic in Spain and the Canary Islands, with
the ability to operate effectively within local contexts.´
● Languages:
○ Fluent in English (spoken and written).
○ Fluent or good working knowledge of Spanish
○ German or and additional languages are highly valued.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to
engage clients, staff, and stakeholders.
● Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive and a passion for innovation in the
health, rehabilitation and wellness sector.
