🚀 ¿Cuál será tu misión?
Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener integraciones entre plataformas LMS (Learning Management Systems) y soluciones externas, combinando desarrollo backend en Java con el uso de herramientas de integración como Boomi, Make, entre otras.

✅ ¿Qué buscamos?
🎓 Formación académica: Ciclo Superior o Grado en Ingeniería Informática, Telecomunicaciones, Desarrollo Web o similares.
-Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo backend con Java (Spring Boot).
-Experiencia con herramientas iPaaS (Boomi, Zapier, Make o similares).
-Conocimientos sólidos de REST APIs, JSON y Webhooks.
-Experiencia con protocolos de autenticación (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).
-Uso habitual de herramientas como Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker.
-Bases de datos relacionales y no relacionales (MySQL, MongoDB).
-Inglés nivel intermedio (mínimo B2).

🌟 Requisitos valorables:
Conocimientos de frontend (JavaScript, React).
Experiencia en entornos cloud (AWS), especialmente Lambda, S3, DynamoDB.
Herramientas de test: JUnit, SonarQube, Mockito.
Conocimiento de procesos ETL, integración continua y metodologías ágiles (Scrum, SAFe).
Experiencia en proyectos e-learning o con plataformas LMS (Moodle, Canvas, etc.).
Conocimientos básicos en inteligencia artificial.

-Diseñar e implementar integraciones mediante REST APIs, Webhooks y plataformas iPaaS (Boomi, Zapier, Make, etc.).
-Desarrollar servicios backend en Java (Spring Boot).
-Colaborar en tareas puntuales de frontend con React o JavaScript.
-Implementar y mantener sistemas de autenticación (SSO) con OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect.
-Coordinarse con equipos técnicos y de producto para definir soluciones de integración.
-Brindar soporte técnico en configuraciones y resolución de incidencias.
-Documentar desarrollos e integraciones.
-Asegurar el cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad, rendimiento y mantenimiento.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

- As part of an agile DevOps team, you will independently drive the further development of the BASF Procurement solution into a central platform based on microservices.
- You will be responsible for both the design and end-to-end implementation of individual microservices and ensure their smooth operation to build a stable and sustainable API-Layer for several consuming applications.
- Taking care of the smooth and secure integration of new services into the overall BASF system landscape and existing backend systems will be in your responsibility.

- Through the continuous optimization of our CI/CD pipelines and test frameworks, you will make a significant contribution to the automation of development and deployment processes within the team.

REQUIREMENTS

- Several years of professional experience in Java backend development (very good knowledge of Java 8+)
- In-depth knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security
- 5 years of Java and 3 years of Spring experience
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as JUnit, for writing comprehensive and reliable tests, including mocking techniques and Spring Boot tests
- Familiarity with code quality tools, such as SonarQube, to ensure high-quality code
- Experience with relational and/or No-SQL database systems, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB and respective Java mapping tools (e.g., Hibernate)
- Basic knowledge about messaging and streaming technologies like JMS or Apache Kafka
- Certain familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

About the Role

You will own the translation of business requirements into robust, configurable solutions within one of our state-of-the-art partner platforms. This includes hands-on configuration, scripting (platform-dependent), and working directly with customer data to ensure accurate and efficient system setup.


Your technical expertise will be essential in shaping solutions, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing functionality. You will collaborate closely with business consultants to validate results and actively participate in testing and refining implementations. This role demands autonomy, strong problem-solving skills, and full accountability throughout the delivery process.


A typical day:

Translating design documents prepared by our consultants into object models and corresponding functionalities.
Configuring and testing the solution, in close collaboration with other configuration specialists and business consultants
Demonstrating teamwork and supporting colleagues by sharing insights based on your experience.


Your Profile:

Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or in business consulting. Relevance in retail / consumer packed goods industry, manufacturing, planning, ERP systems etc.
Programming experience in languages such as Javascript / Python, C#, SQL, or TQL, and working with various database technologies such as MongoDB


Who You Are:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Capability to interact confidently with our data integration specialists, other configuration specialists and business consultants. Demonstrate a level of responsibility and relevant experience aligned with the role’s requirements.
Highly proficient in spoken and written English, French and German skills are more than welcomed.
A good work ethic and sense of urgency to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Prior experience with AI tools or machine learning applications relevant to supply chain planning is highly desirable.
