Your New CompanyYou´ll be joining a fast-growing international tech hub that supports digital transformation for a major European retail group. The role is based in Barcelona, with access to modern offices and a hybrid work model.

Your New RoleAs a Software Engineer, you´ll be responsible for building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and frontend components using modern technologies. You´ll also contribute to infrastructure automation and cloud deployment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS.
- Build and maintain frontend components with React.
- Manage PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code on GCP.
- Deploy and monitor applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Analyze data using BigQuery and contribute to reporting.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile ceremonies.

What You´ll Need to SucceedEducation & Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS.
- Solid experience with React and GraphQL.
- Proficiency in MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Experience in agile environments and CI/CD pipelines. DevOps & Cloud:
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and GCP services.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of modern security practices. Data & Analytics (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of BigQuery and Looker Studio.
- Experience with Microfrontends architecture. Languages:
- English — Fluent
- German — A plus!

Coordinarás proyectos digitales orientados al ámbito sanitario, trabajando con equipos técnicos internos y externos. Participarás en la toma de decisiones estratégicas sobre recursos, tiempos y tecnologías, asegurando la calidad y eficiencia de cada iniciativa.

Perfil que buscamos

• Experiencia en gestión de proyectos digitales con metodologías ágiles y Waterfall
• Capacidad para entender requerimientos técnicos, estimar tiempos y decidir recursos
• Dominio de herramientas como Jira y Confluence
• Excelentes habilidades comunicativas para tratar con clientes no técnicos
• Experiencia en el sector salud será valorada positivamente
• Inglés fluido.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Lead DevOps Software Engineer to bridge full-stack software development with infrastructure-level systems engineering.

You'll architect and maintain the software–hardware interface that underpins our distributed connectivity network, ranging from backend systems and APIs to network telemetry, monitoring, and automation pipelines that operate at the edge.

Experience in telecommunications, networking, or IoT systems is a plus, but not required.

What matters most is your ability to think holistically, from low-level device data to high-level cloud orchestration.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end platform development: Design and build scalable web and backend systems that integrate with physical network devices, telemetry, and edge data streams.
• Infrastructure automation: Lead CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• System reliability & observability: Build tools for monitoring uptime, latency, and data integrity across distributed deployments.
• Edge-to-cloud pipelines: Design robust data pipelines and synchronization frameworks between hardware telemetry and application services.
• Cross-layer collaboration: Work closely with network and hardware engineers to ensure software interfaces seamlessly with routers, access points, and local gateways.
• Security & compliance: Ensure data protection and secure network operations across geographies and jurisdictions.
• Mentorship & technical leadership: Guide junior engineers, define DevOps best practices, and enforce reliability across the stack.
  
  

Qualifications

• Backend Development: Advanced in Node.js and/or Python; experience with event-driven architectures and API design.
• Frontend Development: Skilled in React (preferred), Vue, or Angular for building operational dashboards and monitoring tools.
• Cloud & DevOps: Strong command of AWS (Lambda, EC2, ECS), Vercel, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
