Role Description
The objective of the role is to strengthen the company’s M&A capabilities in a very hands-on manner, actively participating in the identification, analysis, execution and closing of transactions. Collaborating with cross-functional and multi-geography teams, the Manager will also develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and provide insights into financial performance and risks. Strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and expertise in M&A are critical to success in this position. The role will be based in Madrid, with willingness to travel to the countries where the company operates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in M&A, with direct involvement in transactions.
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, valuation and investment analysis.
- Experience in contract negotiation (SPAs, commercial agreements, etc.).
- Proactive and autonomous profile, with the ability to work cross-functionally and in international environments.
- Fluent English is required.
- Prior experience in energy, infrastructure or renewables — and particularly biomethane — will be considered a strong plus.
