Your role
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Developer within our Cross-Border Solutions division. This position falls under our International Payments line of business and is located in Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will support the sales team in identifying, contacting and developing new client relationships, helping companies manage foreign exchange risk and optimize their international payments. You will report directly to the Head of Sales and collaborate with the Dealing, Marketing and Compliance teams.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Business Developer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in our Madrid office
- Company-issued equipment with remote access
- Formal training and ongoing support
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Prospecting potential clients through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and events
- Supporting the sales team in preparing client meetings and follow-ups
- Learning how to position FX products and payment solutions in client conversations
- Updating and maintaining accurate records in the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Assisting in marketing campaigns and lead generation activities
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Developing market knowledge and understanding of FX risk management
- Interest in financial markets and commercial roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in Spanish, English is a plus
- Previous experience in sales or client-facing roles is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, International Trade or similar is a plus
