Regional Security Manager.

In this position you will work directly with Regional Operations Manager and be responsible for the execution of the Security Program in the Data Centre site. The DSM provides on-site direction and guidance to the contract security officers via their chain of command to ensure proper execution and enforcement of security policies and procedures day by day. We are looking for someone who monitor the Data Center for compliance of company security policies and responding to any security issues noted.

The Regional Security Manager needs to be agile, professional, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The right person is trustworthy with confidential information, highly organized, self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, can think strategically, and works equally as well independently as with a team. Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Respond swiftly and calmly to Security situations as they arise.

Lead Uniform guards

Support the on-site contractor Security team as the primary security contact during the shift and provides guidance based upon existing Physical Security Standards and local SOP's.

Reports all unusual events to the Regional Operations Manager in a timely manner.

Provide guidance and direction to the contract security officers to maximize the effectiveness of the Security department.

Produce and modify identification badges using a computer-based badge program.

Proficiently utilize and monitor the access control and fire protection alarm monitoring system in use and the integrated CCTV monitoring system.

Efficiently cooperates and coordinates with the Operations Team during security incidents or any other security related matter.

Develop specific knowledge of the various operational process paths within the Data Center to identify security exposures, as well as being able to effectively conduct investigation

Perform various security inspections, audits and investigations as required and as instructed.

Use the information gathered to complete detailed computer-based incident reports

Capable of learning and using company tools for data gathering for security purposes and data analysis

Gather Security metrics regularly and present them in different forums.

Own the security posture of your assigned building and the associated administrative tasks

Ability to work and travel as required by the business needs, including weekends and various shifts.

Act as proxy with Security National Entities when needed.

Skills & Requirements

Education / Experience

4+ years experience in Physical Security and Corporate Security

4+ years experience working with security technology including access control & CCTV systems

4+ years of experience within similar role in the security industry

Professional Identity Card (TIP) as security director qualification or willing and able to obtain one

4 years plus managing contract guard force

Experience working in a mission critical environment, such as a Data Center

Specific Skills / Abilities

Good analytical skills to produce metrics and indicators

Knowledge ISO 27000, PCI and Emergency National Plan will be a plus

Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office with a good working knowledge of Excel

Trained on data analysis and visualization systems as Microsoft PowerBI or equivalent

Fluent in English (will be a plus) and Spanish
