innocent is the fastest growing drinks brand in Europe. With offices in London, Paris, Amsterdam and many others, it’s our mission to become the world’s favorite little healthy drinks company. And in 2018, we opened the Iberia office in Madrid with a small but super motivated team.
In order to support our business in Spain, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Junior Key Account Manager to join our sales team.
You will report to the Sales Manager for Spain, and your role will be to manage existing customers (both Grocery and Out of Home) as well as to identify and conquer new customers. You will also support in the management and the alignment of our field force.
This is a great opportunity to join a small but very entrepreneurial team with strong growth perspectives.
Your role:
- Manage existing customers: you will take over the management of some existing customers, becoming the main point of contact and in charge of defining and implementing promotions, in-store activities and introduce new products.
- Find and activate new customers: your key task will be to make sure we continue growing our distribution, by finding new customers in the grocery and out of home channels. You will need to be extremely entrepreneurial, and find any possible way to find the right contacts and convince them to buy our products. Linkedin stalking? CHECK. Becoming best friends with the client’s lobby operator? CHECK. Going physically in front of the client entrance to give away free smoothies? CHECK. You get the point.
- Ensure an accurate planning and analysis: reflect the latest hypothesis in our systems to optimize our forecast and participate in the yearly budget process. Perform analysis on your clients to keep close monitor of sales and marginality evolution.
- Support the management of the Field Force: our field force is key to implement our strategy in-store. You will need to always keep them aligned on the objectives for your customers, and support the Sales Manager in the overall management of the field force (recruitment, objective tracking, coaching,…).
- Provide inputs for the development and implementation of trade marketing activities: work closely with our marketing / trade marketing to identify and help to develop the best communication materials for our customers, and make sure they are implemented in-store.
Competencies:
- You have a first successful experience in sales, preferably within the food & beverage industry.
- You demonstrate a very strong entrepreneurial attitude: you need to be excited to grow something from zero to hero.
- You are proactive: you will need to constantly find new paths for growth and try new approaches in order to build our distribution.
- “Le field, c’est chic”: you will be based in our beautiful office in the centre of Madrid. However you will need to keep a close link with the in-store reality, therefore you must enjoy the idea of spending some time in-store to verify our guidelines are implemented.
- A proficient level of English is required to work with our international colleagues. Ideally you should also have a valid driving license.
- A good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint) is required. You will be in charge of updating the forecast for your customers in our systems and prepare presentations for your meetings.
- Good singing skills: we’re trying to set up an office Karaoke and need your help. All songs are accepted, but a focus on old Italian classics is preferred (“cucurrucucu paloma”,…).
