We are looking for a Business & Project Controller to join our team in Spain. In this role, you will act as a key financial partner for both the business and our project organization, ensuring financial transparency, profitability control and sound decision-making across cost centers and complex automation projects.

You will report directly to the local CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor financial performance across cost centers and business units, providing clear variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and mid-term planning processes.
• Lead financial monitoring of automation and supply chain projects, including margin analysis, revenue recognition, WIP and cost control.
• Act as a finance business partner to project and operational teams, identifying risks and supporting corrective actions.
• Support the financial evaluation of bids and commercial proposals.
• Deliver financial reporting and performance analysis to local leadership and Group management.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP and alignment with Group reporting standards.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and continuous improvement of financial processes within the SAP environment.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• MBA or advanced financial qualification is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of local GAAP (IFRS knowledge is an advantage).
• Strong analytical mindset and financial modelling skills.
• Experience working in project-based or industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering and commercial teams.
• Fluent English (German is a plus).
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented way of working.
