People Operations and Engagement at LEK
Our People Operations and Engagement team are responsible for ensuring that LEK is a great place to work – one where everyone has an inspiring, sustainable career within a collaborative and inclusive culture. The team are responsible for the employee experience from day one and are focused on developing equitable policies, guidance and People support across the region.
As part of the European People team, the People Co-Ordinator will provide HR administrative support and be a first point of contact for candidate and employee queries across all five capability pillars, as required.
Career Development Administration across Europe
- Trigger and ensure the completion of all case reviews and upward feedback for the consulting team in Europe
- Support the People Managers and People Directors across Europe with the administration of the bi-annual summary review process, including the management of the review timetable and communications
- Data entry ensuring candidate and employee performance records are up to date on the HR system
- Daily review of the Madrid People team inbox, responding to employee queries and triaging requests.
- Execution of administration including employment contracts and letters, new joiner forms employee change letters, onboarding for new starters, off boarding for leavers.
- Data entry ensuring candidate and employee records are up to date on SAP and the internal HR system, e.g. passport copy, CV, contract, contract change documentation, fit to work notes and documentation, other HR documents as required.
- Update employee salary, benefit and bonus information to ensure accurate data for payroll and reporting purposes.
- Support with coordinating general people matters
- Business fluent in Spanish and English and preferably in French
- Experience in an HR or People related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Evidence of a collaborative working style - recognises the value and responsibility of working in a team and seeks to maintain and build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Ability to deal effectively with change and ambiguity.
- Enthusiastic and dedicated, passion for seeking opportunities and self-development.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience in using, updating, and reporting from an HRIS system.

The Associate Intern position
The Associate role at L.E.K. offers exposure to multiple industry sectors and a wide variety of commercial challenges. The nature and pace of L.E.K.’s strategic work facilitates the rapid development of a highly analytical skill set in a collaborative and rewarding team-based environment. As you progress you will take on a significant level of responsibility and build your leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Associates are crucial to the success of L.E.K. project teams. With the guidance and support of an experienced senior team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting primary and secondary research on markets, competitors, and customers
- Performing rigorous strategic and financial analyses, using leading-edge software and techniques, to develop deep understanding of commercial issues
- Collaborating with team members to identify trends, draw conclusions, develop insights and transform those insights into actionable recommendations for the client
- Making L.E.K. an enjoyable and rewarding place to work by coaching colleagues and transferring skills, offering constructive advice, and contributing to a welcoming and friendly office culture
We are currently seeking exceptional and committed individuals with the ability to solve complex problems in a creative way. Successful candidates typically possess outstanding academic achievements, are comfortable with quantitative analysis, have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English, relevant professional experience, and notable extracurricular interests. Fluency in another European language is considered an asset.
We are looking for a sense of intellectual curiosity that will inspire you to develop a deep understanding of any client situation, and to generate innovative answers to complex questions.
