In this role, you’ll take an active role in the interaction design of our products, with the freedom to innovate and iterate. Here’s what your first 12 months might look like:
- Set up your new MacBook Pro and design tools like Figma and Miro.
- Discover the breadth and depth of the platform you’ll design for - on the web and mobile.
- Work in a cross-functional environment alongside solution designers, product managers, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Immerse yourself in our Design System.
- Iteratively design end-to-end experience for big-ticket product features.
- Get to know our customers and users by name.
- Engage with talented engineers to make your designs a reality.
- See your designs reaching thousands of users across the world.
- Continue your self-development – with dedicated learning days, and funding to attend or speak at conferences and meetups.
- Make a difference to the communities we live and work in with 5 volunteer days every year.
Key responsibilities
As a UX Designer, your responsibilities will include:
- Competitor analysis, definition of the user model, discovery of business rules and constraints, collaboration with analysts.
- Design of product features using the Sage Design System, including layout patterns, UI elements, navigation patterns, and information architecture.
- Divergent and convergent, iterative design, backed up with rationale and critique.
- Rapid prototyping and user testing.
- Production of high-fidelity pixel-perfect designs, and key states treatments, collaborating with visual designers and developers.
- Collaboration within a thriving design community.
- Experience designing consistent, scalable solutions using UI components and contributing to design systems.
- Ability to deliver high-quality visual designs tailored to unique user and business needs.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex features and ensure design integrity through structured feedback and quality assurance processes.
- Proven ability to create accessible designs that meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards in collaboration with developers and testers.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on user empathy and insight.
- Ability to manage priorities, plan effectively, and adapt to constraints.
- Fluency in English

We are currently seeking a Business Data Analyst to help support the growth of our market-leading embedded solutions.
As a Business Data Analyst at Sage, you will work with various stakeholders in a cross-functional environment, processing large datasets and creating dashboards that extend beyond simple data gathering to enable in-depth analysis and actionable business insights.

- Analyse data across various platforms to track behaviour, churn, and conversion metrics.
- Monitor billing activity, including payments and account status.
