Overview

Aethos is a reputable company in the hospitality industry, committed to providing exceptional services to our customers. For our new Opening SPA in MALLORCA we we are seeking a SPA Receptionist. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and seamless experience at the Spa. The Spa Receptionist takes a hands-on approach to general reception duties, such as providing a warm welcome to every guest, making reservations, handling the therapist agenda, managing complaints, assisting with retail sales, maintaining reception and spa areas, and addressing any ad hoc queries.

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

• Responsible for welcoming guest to the spa and in and out in a warm and professional experience
• Performs Spa Reception administrative duties including answering phone calls, making guest appointments and greeting guests
• Receives and manages spa reservations made online and via the telephone
• Works with the Spa Manager to maximise the therapist agenda occupancy and use up- selling techniques to promote spa services and facilities
• Provide recommendations and assist with retail sales tailored to guest needs
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a memorable experience
• Ensures that the Spa Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests and resolves guest issues and concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Supports the Spa Manager to ensure a smooth daily operation. Prepare daily accounting reports and resolve any discrepancies in vouchers or payments
• Demonstrates knowledge of the spa services and products, promotions necessary to perform daily duties
• Uses the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
• Assist therapists with operational needs, ensuring smooth service delivery
• Monitor guest areas (spa, cabins, relaxation rooms) hourly, ensuring cleanliness and functionality
• Ensures total compliance with standards of operation
  
  
  

Role Requirements

• A passion for wellness and a genuine desire to help others look and feel their best
• A proactive, enthusiastic and committed individual, with a can-do attitude who looks for opportunities to improve their performance
• A guest-oriented individual who is able to drive operational excellence
• Flexibility to react to changing requirements in a dynamic environment
• Must possess solid time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure whilst prioritising and delegating tasks effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees
• Previous Spa Receptionist/Hotel Receptionist experience ideal in luxury hotels
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English & Spanish
• Compete level in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Canva
• Knowledge of spa software systems and hotel interface programs, preferably
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Previous experience in cash handling
