As a Business Development Manager focused on API & Connectivity, you will play a key role in expanding our B2B network through technology-driven partnerships. You'll work with clients such as travel platforms, consolidators, OTAs, TMCs, wholesalers, and other companies seeking to integrate our inventory and services via API.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing preferably in Turkey, Spain or Portugal.
Wha you'll do:
- Develop and implement a commercial strategy for API-based partnerships in your assigned region or market segment;
- Identify, negotiate, and close new connectivity deals with travel companies (e.g., aggregators, tech platforms, bedbanks, wholesalers, and other B2B distributors);
- Collaborate closely with Product, Tech, and Integration teams to ensure smooth API setup and implementation;
- Conduct market and competitor analysis related to connectivity trends and emerging technologies in travel distribution;
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and business meetings (approx. 30% travel time);
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide regular reporting on sales and integration progress
- Professional Experience. Business development or account management within the travel or hospitality industry
- Technical Knowledge. Good grasp of API-based products, XML/JSON integrations, GDS (e.g. TravelGate)
- Market Knowledge. Strong understanding of the travel ecosystem — especially tech-driven players such as OTAs, TMCs, wholesalers, and aggregators
- Languages. Fluent in and English, other languages are adventageous;
- Analytical Skills. Comfortable with data analysis and KPI-driven decision-making;
- Personal Skills. Proactive, ambitious, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment;
- International Mindset. Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
- Travel requirements. Up to 30% of travel time may be required.
