We are seeking a cardiologist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to annotate and validate echocardiograms, as well as to provide clinical expertise within the Cardiac Imaging Unit.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Identification and inclusion of patients in the group’s various research projects.
- Collection of clinical and demographic data, and coordination of the performance of different medical tests.
- Contribution to clinical aspects of bioengineering and data science work, including post-processing and analysis of cardiac imaging studies.
- Close collaboration with technical researchers within the cardiovascular imaging unit.
Required:
- Medical degree.
- Specialist qualification in cardiology.
- Additional training in echocardiography.
- Fluency in Catalan or Spanish (professional level).
- Fluency in English
Required:
- Experience with advanced echocardiographic imaging techniques.
- Proficiency in the use of digital tools and software for medical imaging
- Research experience in cardiology or related fields.
- Experience in clinical echocardiography
- Experience presenting at conferences
- Working hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week).
- Starting date: As soon as possible .
- Gross annual salary: 28.157,25€
- Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities
