The Commercial and Contracted Clinical Research Directorate at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) supports the clinical research community at Vall d’Hebron Campus throughout the entire lifecycle of commercial clinical trials. This Directorate assists clinical research teams at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital (HUVH) participating in clinical trials and provides support to companies interested in initiating clinical trials at HUVH.
As part of this directorate, the Clinical Trials Management Unit is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the commercial clinical studies at the Vall d'Hebron Campus. The primary objective of this Unit is to support clinicians and Principal Investigators at Vall d’Hebron Campus in conducting their clinical studies in accordance with each study protocol, while adhering to Good Clinical Practice and current regulations.
We are currently looking for a well-organized, methodical, and people-oriented individual to join the team as a unique role of Data Entry responsibilities.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- FP II in Healthcare Documentation and Administration.
- Computer user level (Office package, mail).
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences (preferable but not limited)
- Training in Good Clinical Practice.
- Master´s degree in Clinical trials.
Required:
- Experience working in a research and/or hospital environment.
- Knowledge of database programs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience as Data entry.
- Experience with SAP management program.
- Knowledge of e-CRF and management of clinical data related to clinical trials.
- Highly organized and methodical, with strong motivation and initiative.
- Ability to promptly and effectively respond to requests from both the team and the sponsor.
- Enter and regularly update clinical trial data in software platforms such as CTMS, e-CRF, and others, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Contribute to the resolution of data-related queries and discrepancies in collaboration with the clinical team and sponsors.
- Maintain the Investigator Site File and ensure proper filing of correspondence with sponsors and CROs.
- Acquire pathology-specific knowledge to ensure accurate understanding of the protocol and data extraction from clinical source documents.
- Acquire and apply Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Attend site monitoring visits, review, and resolve queries in accordance with GCP.
- Support the notification process of Adverse Events and Serious Adverse Events.
- Manage Investigational Medicinal Product returned from patients and keep related accountability and adherence information up to date.
- Coordinate the reception and return of equipment provided by the sponsor.
- Prepare required documentation in case of audit or inspection visits.
- Provide oversight of intern training and mentorship.
- Provide support to the clinical team and report to the Clinical Trials Management Unit.
- Provide support for all tasks related to the Commercial and Contracted Clinical Research Directorate as assigned by the Manager.

The CB-DDT group is a multidisciplinary group focus in development of advanced drug delivery systems and advanced therapies. The group targets rare diseases and also cancer, including lung cancer therapies. Further, our group runs the Unit 20 on in vivo experimental research, also known as Functional Validation & Preclinical Research (FVPR).
We seek for a highly motivated candidate to work in one of our projects devoted to the preclinical testing of a new therapeutic drug delivery system for enzyme replacement therapy using exosomes for rare diseases (Erdera).

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Title of higher technician (FPII/CFGS) in the field of bioscience (i.e. Laboratory Diagnostics, Pathological Anatomi, etc.).
- Accreditation to manipulate experimental animals

The Infection and Immunity in pediatric patients research group is a multidisciplinary pediatric research group made up of health professionals involved in translational research in the field of pediatric infectious diseases and immunodeficiencies, two related fields in terms of pathophysiology and clinical implications. It is a consolidated research group recognized by the AGAUR and is the only one with the accreditation of the Jeffrey Modell Foundation in research in the field of primary immunodeficiencies throughout the state.
The group was officially created in 2010, belongs to the area of Infectious Diseases and participates in the transversal programs of Advanced Translational Immunology and Rare Diseases and actively participates in national and international competitive projects, carries out multiple academic and industry-linked clinical trials and has increased the number and quality in recent years. VHIR's offers a contract to work as a Research Technician- Laboratory within the Neurovascular Research Group. Our lab focuses on stroke research and dementia from both basic and translational perspectives. The group is composed of a young and highly motivated team of researchers, including neurologists, biologists, technicians, statisticians, psychologists, and nurses. This position will give support to several experimental studies related to stroke disease within the PReDICT Project to investigate the genetic basis of pediatric stroke and participating in a multicentre consortium.

The Research Group of Microbiology at Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) focuses on the study of the microbiology aspects involved in the infectious diseases aimed at improving developing basic, translational and clinical research that could improve the outcomes of patients with infectious diseases. We work with special interest in studying the mechanisms involved in antimicrobial resistance, the sexually transmitted infectious diseases, the study of viral and fungal infection in immunocompromised patients, the microbial mechanisms involved in pathogenicity, microbial epidemiology as well as in the design and evaluation of new molecular infectious disease diagnostic systems.

- University degree and a master’s degree.
Required:
- Proven experience in a clinical microbiology laboratory.
- Expertise on the use of molecular techniques (PCR, TMA, Sanger and next-generation sequencing) for detection and characterization of human pathogens.
- Experience with automated laboratory equipments.
- Knowledge of manual and automated laboratory techniques.
- Good computer skills, especially in MS Office.
- Proactive, dynamic and outstanding organizational skills are required.
- Experience in working under Quality Management Systems (UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015).
- Knowledge in database management systems (DBMS): creation, maintenance and manipulation using different programs.
- Manipulation of human biological samples under BSL-2 conditions. Maintenance of several sample collections.
- Manage clinical samples and laboratory material.
- Performing experimental assays based on PCR, Sanger sequencing and next-generation sequencing.
- Preparation of reagents, and maintenance of laboratory stocks and equipment
- Stock control of consumables and reagents.
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: August – November 2025
- Gross annual salary: 20.000,00 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).

The Teaching Unit promotes and develops academic activity at VHIR, promoting the creation of new teaching initiatives and channeling the training opportunities that arise from the scientific and clinical community of VHIR. The unit is also in charge of providing support and assisting students and professors about academic issues, as well as coordinating the orientation procedures and academic organization in order to guarantee the correct development of the studies, and the compliance with normative and quality guidelines.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Academic Officer to join our team.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (preferred) or Humanities.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English
Required:
- Proven experience organizing courses, workshops and other educational initiatives.
- Complementary training in the field of education and academic programmes management: instructional design, learning methodologies, e-learning, organizing, etc.
- Previous experience in academic affairs management and teaching quality processes, especially in a University environment.
- Good command of Learning Management Systems.
- Good IT and communication skills.
- Personal skills: well-organized, methodical and people-oriented person. Capacity to work in team and ability to work under pressure.
- Collaborate in the development and organization of VHIR academic activities for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students.
- Academic and administrative affairs of VHIR courses and master programmes: registrations, admissions, enrolment, schedules, certificates, etc.
- Assisting students, professors and researchers on academic issues.
- Manage internship programmes and assisting incoming students: i) publication of internship vacancies, ii) recruitment and selection; iii) educational collaboration agreements; and iii) onboarding, follow-up and departure.
- Any other duties related to the job as requested to contribute to the general functioning of the Teaching Unit.
- Full-time position: 40h/week.

- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
