Job Overview
As Assistant Front Office Manager, I will support the daily supervision of the Front of House team, ensuring a smooth and personalized guest experience. I will proactively collaborate with other departments to anticipate and address guest needs while maintaining high service standards.
My responsibilities include assisting with check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, coordinating the reception team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. I will support the Front of House Manager in upholding Aethos values and driving operational excellence, contributing to guest wellness, sustainability, and financial performance to exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily Front Office operations and assist the Front of House Manager
- Supervise check-ins, check-outs, and guest services to ensure a seamless experience
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate and support the Front Office team, including scheduling and training
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and cash management
- Foster cross-department collaboration to enhance guest satisfaction
- Uphold company standards, policies, and core values
- Contribute to initiatives in wellness, sustainability, and service excellence
- Improve front office processes for efficiency and quality
- Act as point of contact in the absence of the Front Off House Manager
- Proven experience in front office or guest services, preferably in a supervisory role
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written) is essential
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of front office operations, reservations, and hotel management systems
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer-focused with a proactive and professional attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic financial skills and understanding of reporting procedures
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
