We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our team in launching our first private members club in the prestigious location of Marbella. This is a unique opportunity to be part of creating an exclusive, world-class hospitality experience from the ground up.

Project Coordination & Support

• Assist in the development and execution of interior design concepts for all club areas including lounges, dining spaces, private meeting rooms, and member facilities
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and vendors throughout the design and construction process
• Manage and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring all design elements are delivered on schedule
• Support the lead designer in creating and presenting design proposals to stakeholders

Design & Creative Development

• Research and source furniture, fixtures, fabrics, lighting, and decorative elements that align with the club's luxury aesthetic
• Create and maintain design boards, material libraries, and specification documents
• Assist in space planning and layout optimization for optimal member experience
• Support the development of custom design elements that reflect the club's unique identity

Administration & Documentation

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including specifications, budgets, and procurement schedules
• Coordinate sample orders, approvals, and deliveries
• Track project budgets and assist in cost management
• Maintain organized design files, drawings, and correspondence

Quality Control & Attention to Detail

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure design implementation meets specifications
• Review and inspect delivered items for quality and accuracy
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure proper placement and finishing
• Address any design-related issues promptly and effectively

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• Proven experience in interior design, preferably in luxury hospitality or commercial projects
• Portfolio demonstrating attention to detail and sophisticated design sensibility

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) procurement processes
• Understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction processes
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Essential Qualities

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for perfection
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal) - essential requirement
• Spanish language skills are highly desirable but not mandatory
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Collaborative approach with ability to work independently when required

• Prior experience in private members clubs, luxury hotels, or high-end residential projects
• Knowledge of Spanish design regulations and local supplier networks
• Understanding of sustainability principles in interior design
• Professional certifications or memberships in design organizations
