The group of Security and Reliability in CMOS and Emerging Technologies at the Sevilla Microelectronics Institute (IMSE) is searching for highly motivated candidates to focus their careers (and optionally pursuing a PhD) in relation to the following research lines:
Line 1: Aging phenomena in CMOS circuits: characterization, modeling and simulation including machine learning.
Line 2: Physically-unclonable functions for hardware security using disruptive approaches based on time-dependent variability phenomena.
Line 3: Anticounterfeiting solutions to prevent chip recycling using aging sensors and machine learning techniques.
Required qualifications and skills:
-Candidates must have a BsC or MsC degree in the field of electronics engineering,
telecommunications, physics, or similar.
-Candidates must have good English language skills to understand and write scientific texts.
-Candidates should possess the ability to learn quickly, good teamwork skills and a strong motivation for scientific work.
Salary: gross minimum 23k€-31k€, negotiable depending on experience.
Deadline: we seek candidates able to start as soon as possible during 2024.
IMSE is a joint institute of the Spanish Research Council and the University of Seville.
