Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are a well established British Primary School on the Costa del Sol, with over 22 years of experience

delivering high quality British education. 

Our school is NABSS accredited and home to a wonderfully diverse community, with families representing over 40 nationalities.

We are currently looking for an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and has experience 

supporting learning in a UK or Irish Early Years or Primary setting.

About the Role

You will work closely with the class teacher to support children during these crucial early years. The role is varied, hands on, and very rewarding, and requires someone who is calm, caring, 

confident in an Early Years classroom.

We are particularly keen to hear from Natural English speakers who understand British Early Years practice and the importance of routine, language development, and pastoral care.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• English as a first language
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working in Early Years or Primary education
• (UK or Irish school or nursery experience is essential)
• A warm, patient, and nurturing approach with young children
• Legal right to live and work in Spain

• Supporting children in a happy, structured, and safe learning environment
• Assisting with classroom activities, routines, and transitions
• Encouraging children’s communication, confidence, and independence
• Supporting children’s social and emotional development
• Working as part of a supportive and experienced Early Years team
