Wikifarmer is on a mission to empower farmers around the world by educating them and providing direct access to the open market. We're looking for a dedicated Edible Oils Buyer to take full ownership of one of our most strategic categories: packed olive oils and other edible oils.

You’ll be the primary reference for our edible oil suppliers, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, setting up supplier engagement rules, and driving adoption of our platform. This is a unique opportunity to redefine how suppliers interact with Wikifarmer.

What you’ll be doing

• Identify and onboard new suppliers of edible oils and other packaged goods
• Negotiate pricing, volumes, and delivery terms to ensure we offer competitive rates on the platform
• Take ownership of the existing supplier base and build trust to drive better collaboration
• Monitor and guide supplier behavior on the platform by helping them update products, prices, and offers
• Monitor supplier performance and continuously optimize the supply base
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Ops) to improve the supplier experience
• Act as the link between suppliers and our platform evolution - suggest features, unblock issues, and make it easier for suppliers to do business with us
  
  

What you’ll bring to the table:

• You’re based in Seville or in Andalusia, as the role requires regular travel to meet suppliers across the region
• Solid track record in purchasing bottled and/or bulk olive oil, with deep understanding of the market, product types, and key suppliers
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial instinct, you know how to strike a good deal and build lasting partnerships
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple supplier relationships with clarity and consistency
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools, platforms, and dashboards
• Relevant experience in retail, wholesale, or agri-business environments
• Self-starter attitude, adaptable mindset, and a natural drive to make processes smarter and more efficient
• Fluent in Spanish, with working proficiency in English
