A Workplace for Those Who Want More
Hedla Rehab is a specialized medical rehabilitation provider offering intensive, individualized programs primarily for individuals recovering from stroke or acquired brain injury. Our clinic is located in an inspiring environment on the Costa Tropical, just east of Málaga in southern Spain. Working alongside leading specialists in neurological rehabilitation, our mission is to give each participant the best possible conditions for recovery and development.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with the competence and drive to deliver outstanding rehabilitation – or someone with strong ambition who is ready to put in the extra work required to quickly develop specialist expertise in neurological rehabilitation. You are a licensed physiotherapist with a deep interest in the brain’s remarkable capacity for recovery, combined with an exceptional work ethic and dedication. As the majority of our participants are Swedish, basic Swedish language skills are required, as well as the right to work in Spain.
To thrive with us, you embody the following qualities:
- Commitment: A genuine passion for helping others and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
- Attentiveness: The ability to truly listen and understand each individual’s unique needs.
- Social skills: You contribute to a positive, inspiring, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Team spirit: You actively support colleagues, take responsibility for the whole, and collaborate closely.
- Initiative: You anticipate needs and act proactively without waiting for instructions.
- Creativity: You think outside the box and design motivating, effective exercises.
- Flexibility: You adapt to changing needs and contribute where required.
- Resilience: You manage multiple tasks with focus, energy, and composure under pressure.
- Attention to detail: You work systematically, with precision, and based on evidence-based practices.
What Does the Role Involve?
At Hedla, you will work in an environment unlike most others, from our lush garden to the nearby beach, helping participants achieve progress and regain abilities they thought were lost. You will be part of a dynamic, supportive, and non-hierarchical team where knowledge-sharing and constructive feedback are central.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering intensive, individualized rehabilitation based on evidence-based methods
- Participating in team meetings to evaluate progress and develop strategies
- Contributing creative ideas to optimize rehabilitation outcomes
- Documenting participant progress and evaluating treatment effectiveness
- Designing home exercise programs that are practical and motivating
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation
- Conducting follow-ups remotely via phone or video
- Assisting in creating educational content and social media material
Workplace & Conditions
