We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems in a modern, cloud-native environment. In this role, you will work on distributed, mission-critical applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to architectural decisions that impact product scalability, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Java (11/17/21) and Spring Boot.
- Build and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices following best practices for reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Design and support distributed systems and microservices architectures, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh patterns (e.g., Istio).
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment management.
- Optimize application performance through profiling, monitoring, and tuning of memory, concurrency, and data processing.
- Ensure high code quality through unit, integration, and automated testing.
- Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to peers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous system improvements.

Must-have Skills
- Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer or Backend Engineer.
- Advanced knowledge of Java (11/17/21), including multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot, including Spring Data/JPA.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining microservices-based architectures.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and orchestration concepts.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), automated testing, and release management.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong background in unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.
- Experience defining performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and resolving scalability issues.
- English level: Advanced / Fluent (spoken and written).

Nice-to-have
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Ability to leverage AI tools to optimize day-to-day work, including code generation, debugging, documentation, analysis, or process automation. Identify opportunities to improve developer productivity using AI.

¿Qué reto proponemos?

Desde Sopra Steria, buscamos incorporar Software Engineer para colaborar en un proyecto internacional de sector gambling. Participarás en todo el SDLC, realizando tareas de análisis, diseño, codificación, pruebas, despliegue y monitorización.

El proyecto trabaja con metodologías ágiles y filosofía DevOps, conformado por equipos multidisciplinares y de alto rendimiento que interactúan directamente con los propietarios del producto, colaborando con el diseño, desarrollo, pruebas, despliegue, mantenimiento y mejora de las plataformas y aplicaciones web en arquitecturas de microservicios.

Requisitos

¿Qué buscamos?
- Al menos 3 años de experiencia en Desarrollo Java y microservicios.
- Experiencia con Spring Framework (Spring, Spring boot, Spring Data, Spring Security)
- Experiencia en desarrollo front con Angular, React, TypeScript, etc.
- Diseño de interfaces REST
- Experiencia en pruebas automáticas (JUnit, Mockito, valorable otras buenas prácticas de testing y cobertura siguiendo la pirámide de testing)
- Experiencia en entornos de Integración y Despliegue Continuo (CI/CD)
- Experiencia práctica con metodologías ágiles.
- Experiencia con contenedores (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experiencia con colas de mensajería (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

En Vermont Solutions buscamos un/a Desarrollador/a Backend Java para incorporarse a un proyecto estratégico, moderno y ágil.

Trabajarás en una arquitectura basada en microservicios sobre infraestructura Azure, con foco en calidad, automatización y buenas prácticas de desarrollo.

🖥️ ¿Qué harás en tu día a día?

• Diseñarás soluciones técnicas a partir de diseños funcionales definidos.
• Desarrollarás software backend en Java (8/11) dentro de una arquitectura de microservicios.
• Implementarás servicios utilizando Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch y Spring MVC.
• Ejecutarás pruebas técnicas (unitarias) y participarás en la validación de versiones.
• Empaquetarás versiones y colaborarás en los pases a producción.
• Verificarás el correcto despliegue en entornos productivos.
• Colaborarás en la documentación técnica y en el traspaso de conocimiento al equipo de operaciones.
• Darás soporte técnico durante pruebas de usuario en PRE y PRO, resolviendo incidencias.
• Trabajarás bajo metodologías ágiles (Scrum), participando activamente en el equipo.
  
  

Requisitos:

🔒 ¿Qué necesitas para unirte a nosotros?

• Experiencia en desarrollo backend con Java y el ecosistema Spring (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, MVC).
• Experiencia en arquitecturas de microservicios.
• Uso de Swagger / OpenAPI para la documentación de servicios.
• Desarrollo de tests unitarios con JUnit y Mockito.
• Experiencia con CI/CD, utilizando herramientas como Git, Jenkins y OpenShift.
• Conocimientos de JPA / Hibernate / Spring Data para acceso y gestión de bases de datos.
• Uso de herramientas de calidad de código como Sonar.
• Experiencia trabajando bajo metodologías ágiles (Scrum / Agile).
• Experiencia con Kafka o RabbitMQ para colas de mensajería.
  
  

🌟 Será un plus:

• Experiencia en desarrollo con Golang.
• Conocimientos en infraestructuras cloud (Azure u otras nubes públicas/privadas).
• Experiencia con contenedores y orquestación: Docker, Kubernetes.
