Exciting Opportunity: Regional Communications, CR and D&I Specialist
Position Title: Regional Communications, CR and D&I Specialist (in addition to the local Internal Comms Manager role)
Department: People and Communications
Location: Barcelona
Role Type: Replacement/Short Term (8 months)
Join us as the next Regional Communications, CR and D&I Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our communication strategies across our MedLA region and locally in Spain. This position is designed for an individual who is passionate about communication, corporate responsibility (CR), and diversity & inclusion (D&I).
In This Role, You Will Be Instrumental In
- Implementing communication, CR, and D&I strategies that engage AXA Partners employees across MedLA and Spain.
- Collaborating with teams and leaders to ensure coherence in messaging.
- Coordinating corporate responsibility initiatives, including sustainability and community involvement, aligned with global strategies.
- Raising awareness and enhancing AXA Partners' brand reputation.
Both Roles (Regional + Local):
- Participate in monthly global communication meetings and weekly global newsroom sessions to align communication strategies and share local stories.
- Optimize the internal collaborative tool (POP) by updating content and promoting its use among employees.
- Organize internal events such as Town Halls, Leadership Team coffees, and D&I initiatives.
- Support internal clients by advising on, developing, and implementing communication plans in line with company priorities.
- Execute the Employee Engagement strategy to maximize employee engagement and retention, including conducting Pulse surveys.
- Develop a regional communication strategy and plan in alignment with global and regional objectives.
- Coordinate regional communications in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring effective delivery with local teams.
- Foster strong relationships among Global and Local communication teams and gather regional stories for central communications.
- Oversee communication strategies specific to the Truck division in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Create a local communication strategy and plan aligned with global and regional frameworks.
- Manage local communications alongside the Local HRD and Country Manager, ensuring effective collaboration with Central teams.
- Oversee all internal communications, including defining editorial policies and managing various communications channels.
- Manage the internal communications budget effectively.
What You’ll Bring
- Significant experience in corporate communications or writing.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to create impactful communication plans and deliver effective programs.
- Excellent organizational skills and knowledge of social media/digital tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and experience with collaborative tools.
- Ability to work effectively with global virtual teams and lead regional projects.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in Spanish & English.
