As a Trainee in Client Transaction, you will assist with various administrative and operational tasks using fundcraft's proprietary platform, gaining hands-on experience and practical knowledge in investments processes and the fund industry. Under the guidance of experienced associates and managers, you will develop your skills while contributing to the team's dedication to delivering high-quality and efficient solutions to our clients.
This position is based in Girona, Spain, and reports to the Client Transaction Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the accurate recording of portfolio events and documentation in accordance with internal guidelines and fundcraft's standards
- Ensure data quality by reviewing and validating information within the fundcraft platform
- Provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth committee operations
- Learn to upload and validate data points in the platform and collaborate with the Client Success Management (CSM) team to ensure timely processing of payments
- Support the collection and processing of Capital Call notices, Distribution notices, and financial reports
- Assist in managing access credentials for target fund web portals
- Provide administrative support in managing events related to VC-type assets, such as data completeness checks and transaction processing
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
- Experience in regulated functions is valued and preferred
- Strong number skills and familiarity to work with tools such as MS Excel or Google-sheets
- Good understanding of the financial statements - balance sheet, P&L and cash flow
- Strong communication in English both written and spoken, any other language is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision in all responsibilities
- Ability to effectively prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and take a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a dynamic work environment
- Self-driven with the ability to take ownership and initiative, offering proactive solutions and ideas in a fast-paced environment
