About The Role
As a Trainee in Fund Administration, you will gain hands-on experience in portfolio transactions, portfolio data management, and fund administration. Working closely with the team, you will assist in processing new investments, corporate actions, capital calls, distributions and similar tasks ensuring smooth investment operations. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop technical and analytical skills in a dynamic financial environment.
This position is based in Girona and reports directly to the Fund Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing new investments, corporate actions, capital calls, and distributions under supervision.
- Help ensure all portfolio events (investments, divestments, corporate actions) and documents are accurately collected and recorded in the fundcraft platform.
- Input and verify portfolio data, support reconciliations between fundcraft platform and accounting systems, and flag inconsistencies.
- Help colleagues with investment process execution and provide operational support for using the fundcraft platform.
- Assist in receiving, uploading, and verifying capital call notices, coordinating with internal teams for payment validation.
- Help monitor and register Capital Account Statements (CAS), Quarterly Reports (QR), and financial data received from target funds.
- Assist in testing automated processes for capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting.
- Support tracking payment deadlines, liaising with internal teams, and ensuring investment-related payments are correctly processed.
- Respond to assigned emails in a timely manner, help maintain platform data accuracy, and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Ensure accuracy and organization in all tasks, carefully managing data, documentation, and workload while maintaining attention to detail.
- Actively seek new knowledge and skills to build a strong foundation in fund administration.
- Work effectively with colleagues ensuring fluent communication within the team and coordinating with other departments contributing to a positive and cooperative team environment.

About The Role
As a Product Owner, you play a critical role in shaping the product vision and strategy within an agile environment. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and user engagement, making data-driven decisions to enhance product value.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies, using insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Leverage deep expertise in agile methodologies to adapt and optimize processes for improved team performance, proactively identifying and suggesting enhancements whenever inefficiencies arise
